Hi, I really am rubbish at keeping up at this time of year. I really do need to make more of an effort.

I am looking forward to finishing next week for 6 weeks summer holidays. Hope the weather pics back up by then.
I'm also applying for more hours at work. A permanent position has came up, which is nice as I am only temp til after christmas. I have the interview on Tuesday.
Nothing much else happening other than that.
Better go and read back a bit, hope you are all well x

  • Oh free I really am wishing you well, especially after you've been listening to me and my problems. I feel guilty being wrapped up in myself. But I agree with the others here ADs are not so bad, especially if you find the correct combination for you. As I said to you away from here, my DS is being tested for some really horrible conditions that I dare not research on, but it's just to get those things dismissed and concentrate on the core matter. So get the scary prognosis' out the way and take it from there. Easier said than done, but you've had the added upset of your Aunts funeral and I'm guessing it's your body's way of telling you to slow down. You know where I am x

Evening everyone, well i havent been sick since yesterday morning :jand i have an appetite again :j the meds cant have worked that quick surely??? DS and DD1 and 2 all think i look much better too??? Although i did say to DD1 yesterday that i couldnt go to stonehenge with all those people for the summer solstice i have felt quite calm today, but then nothing stressy has come up so we will see. I did have a wonderful nights sleep the first in many weeks, but still felt drowsy this morning but the dr did say i would feel drowsy on these tabs. Sat outside while DD1 did some more gardening today which was nice, i like having her around when she is on holiday from work :)

MURIE aww thankyou, your windchime sounds fab x

TREASUREQUEEN yes thankyou i do drink peppermint tea but it doesnt seem to do anything with me, i didnt know that rehydration sachets helped with the shakes thats really interesting! Your gift of silver jewellery sounds lovely im sure your friend will love it

PEPPAPIG thankyou, yes i wondered whether i would be better off sedated or not??? Hope you are well today x

FEISTY i hope DH isnt too poorly with the pains and is feeling a bit better now

SPENDLESS glad you enjoyed your first day in your new job, early finish = bonus :)

VULPIX aww thankyou, i hope all went well at the breast clinic for you today, and i hope you found some fab things for DDs hair hamper

PRINCESSKITTY thankyou, yes im afraid stress, anxiety goes straight to my stomach, and sets my ibs off in fact its what started my ibs!!! But nothing ever like this or as long as this its weird! Has wiggles cold gone yet?

We crossed posts :) aww thankyou my lovely and dont be silly you have been wrapped up in yourself because you have had bigger problems that you needed to wrap yourself in (omg that so doesnt make sense) compared to mine, anyway im fed up whinging about it all, yes i am back on the ADs different ones this time plus an anti anxiety (it actually describes itself as an anti psychotic) pill so fingers crossed these work and i will stop being so stubborn. x

Greetings folks.Fingers crossed for your interview Nic.

Yesterday was a gardening day...still not finished making the front garden.I made a boarder smaller by laying some stone flags. It will make it easier to cut the hedge.

Today I am off to North Wales with my buddy from !!!!! n stitch. We are going to Abakhan if anyone has heard of it.A massive warehouse selling fabric and such. They have branches all over the place these days...and they have a sale on!Mr V is calling us Thelma and Louise. Road trip!!!!

DD1 is in the throes of moving from Manchester to Sheffield. She has a new job in Sheffield and will be moving in with her boyfriend. But they haven't found a house yet so half her stuff is stacked in my porch and the other at my Mum's.I cannot wait to be rid of it.The meter man had to be turned away the other day as the meter cupboard is blocked by boxes. Her boyfriend has the same name as my son and she and my step daughter also have the same name.Makes for a lot of confusion.I still manage to call them the wrong name. Not as bad as my Mum who famously called my brother the dogs name!

I am on the lookout for some more Christmas fabric today for the Christmas throw.Hope it takes less time than the last patchwork quilt I made.40 years.

Hope you are all well.Still thinking of climbing the Gherkin,do your legs hurt?

    Laters Vx

I have lived in a bungalow for the past 3 yrs and struggle with any stairs now and even managed to trip going into my parents house because the front door step is so high !:o

I bought DD some new pjs yesterday her instant reaction was I hate them you know I don't like black ! [me] there navy blue [her] oh they are ok then !!!

Then she asks for a cd for Christmas [Evanescence ] I tell her there's a copy on the shelf as I treat myself to it when it 1st came out , her reply can I have a new one as mines old !! sometimes there's just no arguing with Autistic logic.

Hi all, today started very gloomy outside but it’s brightened up now. Although saying that I spy a dark cloud on the horizon! Trying to wrap myself in Christmas cheer today as I’m getting fed up of all the voting stuff! I have voted, I’m just fed up of all of these people trying to tell me how to vote by giving me their opinion. I am voting for what I think is best for me and my family and that’s it! Sorry, mini rant over! I hope everyone is ok today. I have an extremely rare afternoon to myself, Wiggle has gone to his Grandparents, DH took him and is now working from there (he works from home) so it’s just me in the house. Bliss! I know I should be doing all of the housework that needs doing but I have opted for catching up on here and with Celebrity Masterchef! I might even have a little peruse at my Christmas spreadsheet…

nic good to hear from you. I hope the interview went well, let us know how you got on!

freespirit I do hope they have some answers for you soon. So glad to hear you are feeling a little bit back to normal! Wiggle is getting there thanks, he’s just got a cough now so it’s the tail end of it.

vulpix I was a bit like that before climbing the Gherkin! Amazingly my legs didn’t hurt the next day, I think it was all the ‘warming up’ I did running all over the place beforehand!

CHRISSYG Hmm think you’re going to have to buy that cd!
