Lookīng Guff...terrible care, I had a flatscreen LG TV once remember them, great TV lasted 8years, thankfully never had to deal with LG apparently.
Poor ringo stuck with a basic phone no doubt after spending loadsamoney on a LG
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

Well.. they found it. Royal mail have it, and it's apparently on its way home to daddy. Edit: It'll be here tomorrow according to RMLookīng Guff...terrible care, I had a flatscreen LG TV once remember them, great TV lasted 8years, thankfully never had to deal with LG apparently.

Yeh.. it's annoying to be spending £26 a month and stuck using a replacement phone that hardly works. I've got an LG TV in my kitchen, it's about 8 years old and works fine too.
It doesn't seem like there is a great way of pushing issues higher 'in the chain of command' at LG in their support structure once you've got past their 2nd tier people. They haven't got a good way of tracking a phone once it gets to the repair centre, and rely on a spreadsheet that gets emailed back and forth on a daily basis. They aren't able to phone or email the centre to get updates.
They had an online system for customers to track their support case, but it doesn't work anymore.
I'd be upset if my firms support system was so dodgy.
PS. Their email address is cic.uk@lge.com if anyone has a need to communicate with them0 -

Sounds like outsourcing....
Glad its coming though, I remember when 3 lost my phone and sent it back, by that time I had defaulted on the account as I refused to pay for a contract where they would not replace the phone their 3rd party repairer lost. Eventually it appeared months after disconnection and I called 3. Credit to 3 they credited and closed the account and let me keep the phone.
Look at Voda....seems LG UK suffers the same, which is good for us to know ringo, so thanks for the info and updates
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

It's come back. It's still a 16GB model.... !!!!!!

They want to take it back in and 'fix' it properly.. I've asked them how they'll change their process to ensure it happens, and how they plan to compensate me.Jesus!

I did mention my next steps would be to chat to trading standards0 -
Phone goes back to LG tomorrow. They might be refunding my monthly contract charge.
I'm going to visit The Range tomorrow to pick up a £7.50 Nokia 105... my 'old' work phone has packed in so I don't have a spare anymore. LG won't refund me any costs associated with getting a temp phone.
Now I've dealt with Google's hardware support team and they were a world above this. So much more friendly and on the ball. I think my next android phone will be a stock Google model.0 -

I'm going to drive over to The Range, as they've got an unlocked Nokia 105 for £7.50 .. saves all the hassle of the sim upgrade.
My G3 has gone back with the nice man from DPD, and I don't know when I'll see it again...
