So, i sent out an email (to the support address) yesterday stating my various concerns, and this morning, they've told me that they have found a 32GB mainboard, that they're going to fit it to my phone and a courier will pick my mobile up soon. They'll also give me £50 for the inconvenience.
Fairly sound outcome I think. I am a little concerned that my phone might break again in the future, as this is a common issue on these phones.0 -
Looking Good ringo

I LIKE!
The phone has now gone back to LG via the DPD courier. I took a bunch of photos of it to note the condition of the case/screen and eventually noticed that it does actually tell you the version of the model in very small letters on a label on the back of the phone. I'll be checking that when I get the 'new' motherboard back.
I'll now have to keep using my rubbish Nokia Windows phone as a replacement.0 -
So I'm now two weeks of having no decent phone. LG don't seem to know when it will be fixed.
I'm now fairly unimpressed by LG and need to find ways to put pressure on their 'resolutions' team0 -

2 weeks isn't really that unreasonable tbh0 -
They tell you that their turnaround time is normally 7 working days.2 weeks isn't really that unreasonable tbh
I think it is quite poor when you were told your case would be prioritised. Their customer services always sound quite downbeat, they don't call you back or email you when they say they will and they have no efficiet method of contacting the department that does phone repairs.
Apparently my repair is finished today. I won't be buying another LG phone again. Back to Samsung for the next one.0 -
It's been 3 weeks now. They told me yesterday it had been dispatched to DPD.. no text to say it might be arriving, no emails.
