Grr to faffy ebayer.0

Grrrr indeed! Haven't heard anything so have no idea if the item turned up yesterday.
Productive morning yesterday. Decided to do half hour admin whilst little man was amused and close a couple of the unused cc. Phoned bc first and they offered me £20 + refund of my late payment charge to keep it open. So £32 made for the sake of a 5 minute phone call
Cancelled one other and need to do another one today as couldn't get on the website yesterday.
Didn't manage to get to post office yesterday as I realised I'd run out of envelopes. Quick nip to £shop sorted this but didn't have time to post. It'll be a nice walk out in the sunshine with DS later.0 -
Good news - the eBay parcel has turned up! The buyer went to their local depot where they eventually found it! Phew, didn't like the look of the Royal Mail claim form - they don't make it easy. Although I've had a message off another buyer asking if I could wait until Friday for payment (nearly a week late!) as their partner is paying and is away. I wouldn't mind but it's only £5 inc p&p - just feel like they're taking the pee but hey ho!
Last night weigh in was a lb gain  to be expected really, it's my first gain since starting. Will just have to be extra good this week - 3lb to target, the end is in sight.......
First running session last night and I loved it! Can't wait for the next one. Felt really good to be exercising again
Have a good day all x0 -
I'm hanging tight at the same weight. sigh...
Good! The package was unearthed!
I'm really glad you are running. My husband has always felt so much better staying in his exercise routine. It makes a real difference to his mood and frame of mind.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

I like my food too much Mila! This last couple of lb is going to be a nightmare to shift.
The vet bill came through and was £240  I thought my budget of £200 would cover it but obviously not :j So looks like I have £40 to find - eBay here I come........
In better news I've had a flurry of eBay bids which are now stood at £18, so almost half way to the vet bill deficit.
The next couple of months are going to be spendy, as have OH, Dad and Mum in laws birthdays, dog jabs plus Father's Day, so over payments may have to take a back seat. I'm also not sure whether I'll have any pay come pay day and even if I do it'll be the last instalment. I have approx 4 months money stashed away but this doesn't really allow for any emergencies that may occur. Time to tighten the belt again me thinks.....0 -
Well it's been a productive but spendy weekend here.
So firstly the bad - our dishwasher broke  it's been on borrowed time for the last couple of years and has finally died on us. I know they are a luxury, but since DS came along it has been an absolute godsend, so unfortunately we've had to replace it. Did a bit of shopping around and have managed to get one for £166 delivered. It had 20% off, I've received £12 in cashback and its interest free for 3 months. Not great taking on more debt, but it is short term and seems the better option rather than dipping into the remainder of my mat leave funds.
Managed to get a fair amount done at home and around the yard. Nets are filled for the coming week and judging by how much I've used, my hay should now be lasting the wee ones 6 weeks now that they're out all day. At home, grass has been cut, some bits put in he loft, downstairs generally decluttered and a pot of curry made and frozen. Also unearthed a bag of stuff I'd sorted for eBay ages ago and forgotten about so managed to get a lot of it listed last week.
Speaking of eBay, I had a nice successful night last night and made £62.62
again it was nothing major just clothes, so very very pleased with that. Just need to have a mamouth packing session now.
So I mentioned on an earlier post that it's going to be a spendy couple of months, so thought it would be useful to have a breakdown of what's going out.....
Extra for vets bill £40 - due mid June
Green bin payment £30 - due now
Family birthdays £40 (£40 already budgeted) - July
Dog jabs £30 (one will be free under the loyalty scheme our vets run) - early July
Big lads meds £120 - end June
Shettie meds £120 - August (although need to check if it's still cheaper to buy in bulk, as a friend's pony has just been given the same meds by the same vet for £12 per tub cheaper than I was paying )
Father's Day pressies for Dads (I'll sort OH separately via my spending money) £30 - mid June.
Dishwasher instalments x3 @£56 - first due end June.
It's all very scary when it's written down - it's an extra £576 needed over the next 3 months  question is can I raise it via eBay lol!
Right I'm off to start packaging......0 -
I just ordered my dogs meds online and it was 45% less. That's a heck of a savings over a year!Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Payday tomorrow, so let's get the scores on the doors out the way
OD was £728.83 now £793.81 (+£64.98)
Cc was £5670.74 now £5571.59 (-£99.15)
Total was £6399.57 now £6365.4 (-£34.17)
Absolute Pants! Spent far too much on food shopping :mad::mad:
So new month and yet another new start....
Aims for this month
1. £100 off credit card
2. £70 off OD
3. Make £200 on eBay / fb (huge task but that's roughly what I need to average over the next 3 months to cover the extras!) Aim high and all that!
4. Swag £10
5. Keep food shopping under £220
6. Lose the 2lb to get me to target
So, out of last weeks eBay sales I've paid for the green bin and put the remainder in the vets bill account. There's just £15 to find there now. eBay sales are currently at £11, so this should cover it. The next target will then be £120 for meds and £30 for the fathers day pressies. Let's see how it goes.....
I've got an a$da order arriving later tonight. I got £10 off £60 spend and managed to get a lot of our branded bits on offer. Total cost £52.32, which leaves me with £167.68 for the month.
Jobs for the remainder of the week
1. Laundry!!!!
2. Sort Father's Day cards
3. Contact work to set the wheels in motion for reduction in hours
4. Order dog food
5. Buy horse feed0 -
Another successful weekend on eBay with just short of £60 made! It's great as it's helping me towards my financial goals while clearing some much needed space in the house! I also have a £5 fb sale which should hopefully be confirmed today.
Tasks for last week all done except the Father's Day cards. I've emailed work with my intention to reduce my hours when I return, just waiting on their response. Feel really nervous about this and how they'll react but know it's for the best for my family.
Update on my mini financial goals....
Garden waste bin £30 - paid
Extra for vets bill £40 - paid
Family birthdays £40 - £5/£40 paid
Big lad meds £120 - £75/£120 paid
Total £150 / £576 paid
I also have £113 pending in my TCB account. Hoping this should be payable soon which would be a massive help.
Jobs for this week....
1. Post eBay
2. Follow up with work
3. Father's Day cards and pressies
4. Pay vets bill
5. Declutter kitchen and utility0 -
All your numbers are looking very healthy!Overprepare, then go with the flow.
