  • I for one found volunteering helpful & I too live in Rotherham area, Rotherham Hospice are good and they pay for your transport too, I volunteered with them for 4 months, & now I gave a job at KFC in Meadowhall

I struggled with depression & found working helped, I have been employed now for 16 months

Give volunteering a go, as I say Rotherham Hospice pay for your travel
  • I was unemployed for 3 years before I found work
  • If you are arriving in the UK, especially for the first time can be a daunting experience – looking for a job and temp accommodation is sometimes stressful, not to mention sorting out your finances, taxes and getting to grips with the transport system. You know what in the time you have moaned about not having a job you could have volunteered somewhere and you probably could have had a job by now. Your just further wasting time.

Eats into your jsa is there nothing that you could walk to.

You got to keep trying espnwith NHS jobs. I'd love to see what you wrote for your additional information on the application did you read the exact requirements.

Keep trying but you also need to volunteer to get experience.

Ask the places if they cover your expenses to get there and back. You need to ask to know.
