£40 onto my signature after someone paid me back something that was owed.
Chugging away with surveys and the like too.
Maybe we should have a 'word a day' challenge on here - starting midnight each day to give everyone a chance. What do you think Aesop ??

I often feel like a right ungrateful mare when I do that, but it grieves me badly to see SO MUCH money wasted on things that will literally never be used when there are so many things we desperately need.
I'm a practical gift person. I've even asked people to buy me toothpaste in the past (I make my own now though), but they look at me like I'm mad not to want some frivolous item that will spend 5 years, languishing in a corner until I feel I can legitimately donate or sell it on.
It sounds like we are allowed to include money from returned items to the challenge too....is that right?
It seems reasonable to add monies from returned presents as then it's as if they had given you the money

I've been accepted for 2 items. Both I want. Oneis free, other is £2.99 but that is heavily discounted.
I have read people saying if itis fufilled by Amazon you have to pay postage unless you have prime. Otherwise postage is free.
I haven't checked postage on these two yet. Hope it's free :eek:Thanks Aesop !

My cashback from sky (switching to sky broadband/phone saved us £20 a month so it was already a win) that was confirmed 5 months ago finally became Payable, just cashed out £84.84!!!
And I might have sold one of my slings for £80 too but that won't be confirmed until tomorrow. Going to update my total. I fear I'm setting myself up for. Big disappointment in Feb... But I'm not going to complain, at this rate we might almost clear one of our overdrafts!!! Omg!
Don't worry forward - keep going and get those debts paid as that will save you money to start with :money:

Well - I'm soo pleased that the wind has shifted and now it's much warmer here in my little home, thank goodness, atm.
You would all chuckle if you could see my front windows. The wind has been driving all the rain and salt from the waves onto the windows and it now looks as if I have nets up :rotfl: I can hardly see out but I'm not going out to clean them until the weather picks up.
Thank you all for the advice re V*ck. I texted my dear DH and he stopped and bought me some on the way home. Oh the memories it invoked. I remember my dear Gran putting it on a piece of flannel on my chest under my vest when I had a bad throat or bronchitis when I was smallI am now 'wearing' some and it will be going on the feet when I go to bed.
Just £2.25 to add from surveys today but it all helps eh
Hope you all have a fabulous Friday and stay warm and dry
