Welshkitty will be fighting with you for cheap turkeys in the aisle anything to save some cash.
When DH went to get breakfast supplies on New Year's Day he said there wasn't much bread in the sm. There was apparently 2 grown adults fighting in the aisles over the last one of a certain loaf. He said the security guards had to separate them!0 -
I'm on 4 out of 4......SPEND days that is  Today I paid for a waxing appointment and dry cleaning.
DH will be buying his SW 3 month membership thingy tomorrow but I class this as a bill, it just gets paid in cash. I am hoping for no more spend days until the end of the week as I am away with work and any food/hotel costs are paid for by my company. I will make sure I stay in my allowance so I don't spend any of my own money. I should get 5 NSDs this week if I do all my spending on Saturday when my hair cut is booked.
Earned £12+ of cashback today on booking my accommodation for work. I won't receive it this month, not sure if this counts as my earn extra goal.
All the bills came out today and as I had paid all the savings I had planned, a big mortgage OP and an even bigger CC settlement last week there is a scarily small sum left in the account to last us until pay day on 29th. There is enough to live on though with a little wriggle room if we can stick to our uber frugal January budgetSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -

He should have videoed it on his phone and sent it into a paper. That would have been an unusual way of getting some extra wonga:rotfl:
Themarsbargirl - I don't see why the fruit tea doesn't count no.

Today was one of my planned spend days - we needed petrol and I knew I needed milk for work so thought best to buy everything today.
Tomorrow will also be a spend day as I am working from a different office and will need to stock up on 3 days of soya milk.
I have signed up with Noddle - thanks Bob for recommending this. My credit rating is 3/5 and my score is just above poor:eek:(a default on £7k+ is not helpful) but it's fine as I don't need any more credit and my 2 current credit cards keep offering me 0% deals anyway.
Well done those who have managed 4/4:T0 -
Hi, hope I'm not too late to join
Have been reading through the thread and think I could benefit from this challenge (along with the others I have joined) and everyone's support.
We don't have a lot of debt but we do have a lot of things we want/need this year so any extra income/savings would be a huge help towards that.
Welcome Rylee. Not too late at all. Contenders listed in page 1." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Today I am grateful for a walk with dd, for not having the telly on much (anyone else remember kat's challenge that said just 1 hour of tv per day - when the Tour and Wimbledon were both on?!!!), for being in the mood for baking + cooking, for good books, for my waterproof.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Certainly doI could probably do with a few days of less TV, I've watched loads over Christmas and have it on from when I come home from work until when I go to sleep.

Short_bird How did the yellow stickering go?
Rain stopped play... It was chucking it down when I got home and I realised I didn't really need to go hunting as all food groups are covered.till at least Wednesday.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
