Piggers Hoppy Birdday, my friend. Am I right in thinking you don't do cake? Sending you a virtual plate/dish of whatever you'd prefer instead.:DHard_Up_Hester wrote: »Hi

Uh, oh, I was going to do a decent post, but Jack's appeared with a "I'd like to visit the garden" look on his face.

Hugs skinty what a nightmare xxx
Happy birthday pigpen xxx
Just back from my aunts, early - which suits us. One of the kids (not mine!) was doing everyone's head in...Having a hh play time with their Boxing Day present then I think bedtime for small people
I won't be up late either - and since I pottered earlier I did find homes for the new stuff.
DS loves his motorised buggy thing - he's just made up with it, and DD eventually found her karaoke voice after having me sing "do you want to build a snowman" lol. So two rather happy kiddies here. We'll be glad of a few quiet days though...
Tomorrow I might see if I can get an online shop done for Monday - we were quite modest with Xmas so not much leftover- and I need to get some laundry done.
Does anyone need a new year ironing challenge?Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Skinty definitely coping vibes and nasty thoughts towards CF.
Piggers happy birthday.
Went for a walk by the gravel pits/river this morning, saw a kingfisher and a flock of 10 fairies (long tailed tits, for those who are baffled by my passion....).
BIL just left, with as much food as we could give him. Actually there isn't too much left. Gave some to MIL too. Now it's just the 2 of us; a quiet Christmas by our usual standards but I'm just enjoying him being here after last Xmas rushing backwards and forwards to hospital.
Howling wind here but no rain for us. Fingers crossed for Dizzy and others in the flood areas, hope it isn't too bad.
Welcome to Hester.
We'll be enjoying our Christmas decs till 12th night!
House looks relatively tidy anyway so more relaxing I think.......Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Pigpen - Happy Birthday!
I took the dog for a walk this afternoon and I can safely say he's had too many treats _pale_ So I came home, gave him a wash to clean him up, then I've sat and distributed his remaining snacks between about 40ish snack bags so at the most he's getting his daily allowance but usually less. I've kept his favourite ones which we use for training in their sealed packs though and they will be used sparingly. He's doing his usual not eating or drinking sulking as DD has gone away. By tomorrow night he'll be back to normalNow I'm going to sit and sort out poop bags (putting one inside the other so they're double bagged ready for walks. Single bags are not an option atm _pale_) and I think I'll have an early night. I can't stop yawning today.

happy Birthday Piggers
Went to sisters for our usual huge 4 generations together get together and have had a smashing time as per.
We did family secret santa - and I was thrilled to bits to be given, among other things a hamper as I have always secretly longed to one and a lovely fancy box full of gifts. DD got her gists in a personalised hessian sack whuich was much admired (I have my suspicions as to who her secret santa was) but not a clue who mine was! Mum thinks I had her but I gleefully told her she was wrong. I did, however, assist her ss so technically she wasn't!
And MY Flylady secret santa? Wow - so generous - and I was desperate for socks and I love stationery...and that wasn't all! Thank you whoever you are!

Happy boxing day!
Pigpen - Happy birthday to you!!
Had a relaxing morning with Step-daughter, partner and DGS. He was so excited!
This afternoon managed to lay out another spread of leftovers for the kids to graze on, then start tackling the bomb site that is my kitchen. Kids all settled and amused playing computers and the like while I watched Dr Who xmas special.
Dining room is now tidy-ish, and kitchen looks much better. Going to get kids up to bed early tonight and I will watch a film and have a Baileys:)
The rest of the housework can wait until tomorrow:DNovember NSD's - 70 -
Quiet day today
Went to visit my Grandma who is 99 and had Christmas lunch (second one) with her. This is the first year for a while that she hasn't been to my dad's for Christmas but she's getting very wobbly and dad doesn't have a stair lift so not really safe anymoreanyway we had a nice lunch and a natter, my dad and my DD were there too and it was lovely
Then home to cook bacon butties for OH and his pals who were here gaming.
List for tomorrow
Laundry
Change beds
Hoover bedroom
make a plan for changing bedrooms/study/spare room round (:eek::eek::eek::eek:) It will be with it although I don't fancy the actual event as OH has 2 large bookcases of games boxes that will have to be emptied, they're not heavy when empty but we can't move them full But it will make more sense to swop the spare room and the study over
Bath and bed now
PoopedGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
The bulb has just blown in the dining half of my livingroom. I don't have another energy saving one, and no idea where my spare old style ones are. So I've put the light on in the other half instead and I'll be off to Mr A in the morning to buy a new one. I guess thats where the majority of my PG vouchers will be going. Oh well...Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
