I appear to have mistakenly thrown half a gammon away  we can't find it and I flung some foil that I thought was quiche that had been left on the side all night. Oops.
Lovely dinner, lovely day, kids very giddy but in bed now. Everybody well fed and quietly content. FIL is doing bottom burps  he's blaming my sprouts :rotfl:Bossymoo

Everything great except the weather, Garden is flooded again, thinking of dizzy xx

Falalalala-la-lala...ignoring the rain...flood warning?
Fabulous day. Too much food. Just enough wine. Spoilt with pressies. Big fat thank you to my Secret Santa for my delish hand creams and cute mirror. Safely tucked away in my handbag before DSD sees that and "reallocates" it :rotfl:
Correction. Slightly too much wine and a 5am start in the morning to journey back to Sussex for the skids and Crimble round 2...groan...
Merry Christmas all you lovely ladies x0 -
I'm happy and tired. A lovely day has been had.
Thank you to my secret shopper. The picture is beautiful and unique. It drew many ooos and ahhs when I unwrapped it in front of the masses I entertained today. I absolutely love it! Xxx0 -
Good morning all!
We've been up since 6am. Both showered, dressed and eatenDD is mostly packed without using the list so she's gone upstairs to check what she's packed against the list. She's leaving here about 9.30am, leaving her dads about 10.30am and will hopefully be at her grandparents up in Cumbria by 12 if all goes well.
I did nothing yesterday after eating dinner except go and see family so I need to wash up now then put gifts away once DD has left. Not sure whether I want to take the tree down today, or leave it until Wednesday when DD is home. I had planned to take the dog for a walk, but it raining here. I'm going to try and clear the end of the lists for something to do that will keep me awake and away from the sales and food
Sat 26 - DD going away and relax :rotfl:

Morning.........slinks back in by the back door.......
Quick review of Skinty's 2015
CF kicked into touch, nuclear war started, CF being an CF of epic proportions...
Baby bag removal operation failed, as too anaemic, injected with prostrate cancer meds which sends the BD on a feeding frenzy.......marble bag is just about intact, but only just
Stupid pancreas has given up with all the stress and no baby in occupancy this time, so this is it for life......good job I had the two dry runs with DS and DD4. Life is full of BM, insulin and a cabinet full of meds
CF wrecked my career in banking by stopping mortgage and making me use last of my emergency funds to pay it, given he wasn't paying proper maintenance.
Judge wants house sold, borrowing cash off my mum regularly to get work done and complete to a saleable condition. CF is ringing and harassing estate agents like Rumpelstiltskin stamping his foot saying the house is his. House supposed to be live this morning, only 2 out of 3 Agents are showing on line.
Currently out of clean clothes, and the house is covered in christmas gibble......and we have visitors expected in about 2 hours???????
Right, going to go on a bin bag dance first, then find something on the floor I want to wear and stick it through on a 30 minute wash......good job there are curtains at the downstairs windows this morning.....otherwise I would most definitely have to move, as I wouldn't be able to look my neighbours in the eye again.
Yes, bin bag dance.......off I go!The cold never bothered me anyway0
