Socket drying quickly vibes x
Ds2' bed changed. Ds2 bathed.
Miss Muddy Paws has printed muddy paws on all the clean sofa throws. They will be staying like that now.
List updated for final shop tomorrow0 -
Hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes and large mug of whatever you fancy all around!
Quick check in to update my list...not that we've achieved much! Every job seems to be taking twice as long as I'd expect. Window is finished but no picture yet as the window was acting like a mirror and all you could see was the houses over the road. I'll try again in the morning with the sun shining at it. We cleaned the outside of the window and discovered its dirty in between the panes of glass. No idea how that can be rectified, but no matter how much I clean my windows now they're always going to look dirty  DD also cleaned the brass and washed down all the paintwork. There was no point sweeping as there's rubbish blowing all over the street from the bin being emptied yesterday & today. Inside we have managed to get the garlands and tinsel up, the tree is up and has the lights on but will need major tweaking tomorrow before we put the other decs on. The dog is not in the least bit impressed and most of the evening hiding or crouched as if about to jump until he finally got on his bed and fell asleep. At least he seems to be leaving it alone.

Thank you for all your kind words but as you can imagine I am still having to do stuff.. But I will admit I am starting to feel a fair bit better, just wish I could get rid of the cough now.
My house is looking like Christmas is here now, although we have succumbed to not having the tree up this year, which I am sad about, but with a 7mth old puppy running around eating everything and anything in his sights we thought it would be a wise choice.
Tomorrow I am going to go through and do things, slowly, that need doing. But I won't go overboard I promise.
Cards have all been posted too, so people should be getting them tomorrow/Thursday hopefully...Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

FBO - you have done brilliantly - I'm wishing you a happy AF xmas...
Me? - shattered but getting there. More to do than I have the time or energy for.
natty - there's no have - if it has to be done but you can't do it then someone else must or it doesn't get done. Or defer Christmas - many people have it later or earlier for many reasons. Kaz so sorry about moggy honey, was he an old moggy?
Piggers I swear your kitchen is jinxed, the other year you blew it up and had no kitchen for a year, now your electrics have gone awol as has your boiler.. A thought with your electrics, if you have household insurance you might be able to get something done on your household insurance..or even if you have HomeServe they will help, as we have them, and they are brilliant.
Merry Yule LW, hope you had a nice one. We had a quiet one here and I even managed to burn a small yule logFirst time in years have managed to do that

We had a lovely day with all the family here yesterday - all the grandchildren played very happily with each other, and DH even managed to get the trains running for an hour in the afternoon, once the rain stopped.
DD and DGS1+2 stayed overnight and left after breakfast this morning. DH had already driven himself to SW, so they gave me a lift there on their way home.
Towards the end of the SW meeting DH fell asleep (it was very hot in the scout hut, and he hadn't been feeling particularly well since we got home from holiday). When I tried him to wake up as the meeting ended, I couldn't get any response from him, so a friend called the ambulance. DH began to come round when we laid him on the floor, but the ambulance crew took his BP as soon as they arrived and it was ridiculously low - only about 65/30. Consequently we have spent most of the day in A&E. Fortunately DH is feeling a great deal better now. The consultant reckoned that part of the cause of his "collapse" was his BP medication, for which the side effects include lightheadedness and dizziness, but because DH's temperature was also going up and down, he prescribed a week's course of antibiotics too. We finally got home at about 8.30 pm.
DH is now banned from working on the heritage railway on Christmas Eve and Saturday 26th - we don't want him fainting on a train full of families out for a fun day - but I'm sure he will be fine in a day or two.
So the upshot of it all is that today's flying list has now become tomorrow's - saves me having to think of anything else!0 -
ooh missed those- hope the keys and cash have been found
