Still plodding on although wasn't impressed when DH came in from work and said the LR looked worse every time he came in! I'd even cooked him a chicken dinner as well - next time he can have beans on toast! I still have a few bits to wrap but it is mainly done. The last load of washing is in the TD and all the dishes are done. The bins have been emptied and tip run done so I'm getting there.

Right I'll carry on and do some more.

Hi all, I've got a couple of minutes so thought I'd drop in.:o

Kaz so very sorry about pusscat; run free, sweet Kitty.

Today has not exactly gone as planned - the new cooling unit for the pc arrived today ('twas that which was causing all the trouble) so we've had a fun time getting the old one out, the new one in (with slightly different fittings from the old one) and getting the pc back up and running. It's working now though *crosses fingers* so hopefully that's the end of that particular crisis.
Note to self.... don't let Mr LW talk me into another Alienware pc.

I'll be giving Jack his dins in a bit, then we're having (at Mr LW's request) Qu0rn fillets with white wine sauce and whatever veggies I [STRIKE]feel like doing[/STRIKE] can con him into prepping.:D followed by "Xmas" pud - HM of course. Chanpagne in fridge for later.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Enjoy your Yule meal mr and Mrs LW, it sounds lovely.

Mrs MP - amazing phone story. We did a reenactment and worked out which corner they would have fallen off at. DSs went out and found the clubcard that was on them, part of the car key and the batteries from the fob bit all in the leaves at the side of the road. A car or bus must have gone over them. It was right by the corner shop and bus stop. They asked in the shop, a couple of houses by the bus stop and put some notices up on the shelter and by the shops but heard nothing, may walk down there again in a bit and ask again.

Most of the food shopping is done, will pop to Mr L on CEve for last few bits.

Need to find some space in the freezer and cook dinner whilst kids finish hoovering, then I think I'll do a bit of wrapping.

Not doing too bad this week.
Kitchen all clean and tidy bar the floor.
    Bed linen and towels changed.
All the food for rest of week in fridge or freezer apart from more milk, which DH will get the morrow.
Half the dusting done - about to finish now

I'm going to do all the floors and rugs the morrow and some cooking. Then give the bathroom a good clean on Thursday morning before going to get my nails done and doing some prep like the stock for Friday.

Right - off to finish the dusting and make the dinner

Got a fair bit done today:)

Kids have dusted for me, cooker has been cleaned and kitchen S&S'd.

Dinner was lovely: Chicken Tikka Kebabs with fruity rice and mince pies and ice cream for pud. Joint of beef in slow cooker ready to be switched on when I go up to bed.

Have to go into town in the morning, hope back is ok to drive!
