    Hi everyone,

kezbabybabe - love the Winnie stitch. I did the A-Z and numbers for my children's nursery years ago. Still have them in the loft for when I have grandchildren lol!

Mrs ceejay - lovely hydrangeas, really nice colours.

fos - the cushions look great.

    nmm - great leopard update.

I have finished Sydney :j I started it on 13.4.15 (yes I am a nerd and made a note), but RL got in the way and what should have taken a relatively short time took a lot longer. I was busy with work and holidays, GCSE results, craft fayres etc. last year and it meant less time for my stitching. I've made a decision not to do any craft fayres this year. Mum will go with my DSis (who sets them up and runs them). I have to be realistic - it's a lot of work for not much recompense. One fayre I didn't sell anything at all. I don't need to supplement my income (luckily) so I'm not going to give myself more work to do. Sorry for the ramble, but I saw DMum and DSis last night and it was on my mind this morning.

    Ta Dah!

Now off to look for my next stitch project. I won't take part in the Valentines challenge thank you, but will look forward to seeing everyone's makes.

    Have a great day all
    Coxy

Love Sydney :T. I love these designs though I haven't stitched any. There were some small versions in one of the XS mags last year which are very tempting

    Hi all

How wonderful to see the thread nice and busy again. I am loving all the wonderful makes and WIPS. I love how varied our makes are and there is always inspiration for others.

Anyway just a wee mini kit to get me started this year and to start my xmas stock for this xmas. I had started it before xmas but did not get round to finishing it so it is my first completed WIP lol

I am going to start the valentines cards for the boys now and looked out all the threads etc yesterday so all good to go. Just need to make sure that I spend time doing that in the evenings as opposed to spending it on the computer lol

This is so cute. I love his expression :T

Beautiful piece mrsceejay. I love the colours of hydrangeas

I started a new piece yesterday. Only a few stitches as technically it was already Thursday when I did it. It's a free monthly SAL pattern by The Snowflower Diaries http://thesnowflowerdiaries.blogspot.co.uk

In keeping with my 2016 resolution the fabric and threads are from stash. I substituted some of the GAST for similar colours I already had I've added a photo to our Flickr group https://www.flickr.com/photos/69215052@N02/24372014905/in/pool-1577253@N21/

Hi all - loving all the photos,

Maisie - the reindeer is adorable. I have a stash of cards which I did for the craft fayres, so will attempt to use these up on friends and family this year. A good friend is a Phoenix rep so I will need to curb my orders with her for a while.

nmm - leopard looks fab - not long to go now. Love the new piece you have chosen and the idea to frame in a hoop. Satsuma Street does this with her city scenes - there's a tutorial on her blog if you need any advice on how to do it.

fos - yes you're right, I think CSC had some smaller Satsuma Street designs on black(?) aida - not sure I would be brave enough to attempt that! The SAL looks lovely - wish I had the time to do something like this - think I would feel the pressure if I got behind lol!

Mrs ceejay - hydrangeas are looking really great. I love the colours and you've made great progress in a relatively short space of time.

I have started my next project which is 'Collecting Shells' by Nancy Cole. This is the third of her designs I will have stitched and I plan to redecorate the lounge this year and have them in there (ssssssh don't tell DH) Will cost me an arm and a leg to frame, no doubt, but worth it for the stitching hours taken I think!! Will try to update a pic later as off to work shortly.

Have a great day all - frosty here in Kent today brrrrrr

  • I'm rare, as I enjoy both back stitch and French knots. :o

    Here's my latest update:

I did try to get the code from Edge to see if I could get it to work, but no luck. Chrome works just fine.

Winnie the Pooh update is coming on really well.

I've made a start on the cushion panel for my sisters anni gift at the end of Feb. Need to sort Dh a valentine card design out as well to stitch while he's at work.

Your hydrangeas are growing very quickly Mrs_ceejay :T. The colours are beautiful. I have searched for the hydrangea chart I thought I had retrieved from a magazine during the stitchy cull I did last year but sadly so far I have not been able to find it. :( If I come across it, I will let you know.

Well I am up to the BABS now on my Snowman cushion . Seemed to get there all of a sudden. Don't know when I will get it finished but I thought I would let you see what it looks like now
