I want to book a winter European City break for a few days. I like culture. I've been to Rome,Paris, bruges, Brussels, Copenhagen, dubrovnik, Berlin, Barcelona, palma, Budapest, lisbon & few others.

Granada, if LCY is convenient they have direct flights, otherwise to Malaga and then a frequent regular coach transfer.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

I have never considered those. Is granada a more sun break attracting a more 'package holiday with kids' type crowd or am I totally wrong with the Malaga being mentioned?
I'd like scandi but poor light now.
Thinking Prague. .hopefully no hen or stag do around this time.
Amy thoughts on Vienna or Munich too?
As an aside I've never booked in Dec or Jan - do companies offer January sales on flights or hotels to go in Jan / Feb?0 -
Granada looks lovely.Granada, if LCY is convenient they have direct flights, otherwise to Malaga and then a frequent regular coach transfer.
Not looking to mess with coach transfers though. Would like a quick clean no messing flight direct.
And granada would be more a spring break I think.0 -
Nice, France.
Lovely out of season.0 -
I enjoyed Amsterdam -- there are some great museums and galleries (the Van Gogh Museum is amazing) and street markets. The city is compact so it's easy to walk around (even easier if you hop on a tram) and quite pretty with all the canals and not-very-much motor traffic.
Personally I'd avoid Friday and Saturday when the place gets overrun by visiting tourists hoping for a weekend they'll never remember, but the rest of the time it's really nice.0 -
Munich is pretty, but quite small - you might not be able to fill more than afew days with sightseeing.
Mels suggestion of Nice might be a good idea. Or, as slightly 'out there' suggestion how about Monaco? We've just come back from a weekend and had a fantastic time. Booking through BA Holidays gets you a whole load of vouchers for free entry to the main attractions and museums, and if you look around for places to eat it doesn't have to be stupidly expensive. Nice weather, lots of landmarks - it was a pleasant surprise.0 -
I'm going solo too. I see nice and Monaco to be sunny destinations and probably quite windy being coastal. Only going for a few days.
Amsterdam and Prague seem to be frontrunner0 -

If you like culture and excellent food consider Madrid0
