Thanks for the report ferf. It was good seeing your winnings on Facebook. It got us excited for our trip. I wish we could have seen Lord of the dance.

I hope you're both feeling better now.

ah that's a shame but hopefully it is a better move for him - of course, please send him our best :) do you know if his emails are being monitored? Failing that, i'd appreciate if you could send me the details of the other chap :)
The go to guy is now Fernando the front desk manager. I will be seeing him next week and get his email to pass on.

I have had t deal with him before and he has always been more than helpfull.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Wonder if anyone can help. I'm trying to book tickets for Coldplay at the rose bowl in California. I've selected will call and I'm using ticket master USA but it's not letting me purchase the tickets. Don't know if it's because I'm using a uk credit card. I've had issues before when using groupon but not tried it before with ticket master. Any help would be great in going round in circles!!

Fernando was at the front desk when we checked in yesterday. I have seen him before, but didn't know he was going to be the new contact.

    Hi all
I have downloaded the my Vegas app and had a few spins.

I am confused though. Can anybody explain it to me simply.

I go to Vegas in August. So I keep playing and then print out boychers before I go snd then redeem at the mylife desk? Is this correct?

    I am a bit confused.
I think there might be a bit on the front page about it.

Trying logging in with your UK TM account then changing from TM UK to TM US. in the options at the top. I think that is how it worked for me -I've certainly bought tickets from TM US before (will call ) it shouldn't be a problem.

(We got son tickets for Coldplay one year at MGM on the day-He said they were brilliant)

  • Afternoon all - hoping for some hotel advice please...

We're visiting 7th - 17th July this year so I really want to get our hotels sorted

Our MLife offers are a bit rubbish, mine are very restrictive and they seem to have given up on DH altogether. I had an offer expiring on Friday so rang and booked 8th & 9th at Excalibur for $107 total (Fri and Sat, inc taxes and resort fees). Hoping to be able to claim a MyVegas night (on DH's account for 7th as they're now included in the 72 hour rule ). If we can't do that I'll extend my existing reservation to cover it.

I noticed this morning that I've got a cracking rate deal at Aria which would work out at $836.64 for the remaining 7 nights inc. resort fees and taxes. However, this would mean cancelling the cheap weekend nights at Excal as I can't book back to back promos (DH's Aria price is almost twice what they're offering me, so that's not an option). Cheapest I can find on DH's account for the first three nights would then be $319.42 at Luxor .

However, after about three hours of mind whisking, I think I've now decided to stay with our cheapy at Excal (where we've stayed before and liked) and ignore the Aria deal so I think we're going to try a TR hotel for the first time.

I've narrowed it down to two options -
3 nights Excal then 7 at Flamingo in a Go room for $956.15 or
3 nights Excal then 7 at Planet Hollywood in a Hip room for $1140.21
Both options come in slightly cheaper than the Luxor/Aria combo

We like the location and casinos of both Flamingo and PH - DH really likes the vibe at PH and I like the history of Flamingo. Both of us enjoy a good pool.

For those who've stayed at either, or preferably both - which would you choose?

    Thanks!
