it is completely stupid...but unfortunately, they seem to be getting away with it...I still blame CET for caving and not sticking to their guns with their no resort fee promise.
Totally agree with this. I wish they would just add it in to the room cost.
Even taking the RF in to account we have a one bedroom suite booked for 4 nights at MGM Signature that averages £114 per night, which to me is excellent value for money.
The above might be affect by the fact I am currently looking at rooms in LA, and they are very expensive.0 -
hi
damn these resort fee's!
does anyone know about the mgm grand resort fee's, if there going up?
Had a look but cant find anything
Its annoying if they are going up,however i ve saved a bit extra for resort fees but hoping somehow i can get them waived!( any advice here would be welcomed)
This will be the first year we ll have to pay them, i asusme they ask for it at check in and for cash?0 -

As far as I recall (from previous resort fee changes), you don't get charged the 'new rate', you get charged what it cost / was quoted for when you booked.
Someone can correct me if i'm wrong0 -

This happened to us a few years ago. Just make sure you have the paperwork that shows the rf at the time of booking. At check-in we were told the new rf, but I think that was just the person checking us in on autopilot.0 -

Ok thanks alot for the feedback,Im pretty sure we have the hotel confirmation email (from august last year when we booked) and im sure it says whatever the resort fees were per day which is annoying as we are staying for 10nights:mad:
Hoping to try figure out a way to try get them wavied or reduced or something to save money !0 -
Just back from Excalibur and they have renamed the towers 1 and 2, Royal and Resort .On check in I wanted mid to high floor tower 1 with a airport view as usual. They now ask for $20+tax per night for any view. This added to the daily resort fee and the looming car park charge makes even a cheapish Vegas hotel a bit pricey.0

As you know lots get them waived or reduced from 'gaming', but we are not major 'gamblers' so never expect anything. To us we just factor it in to the price of the room / holiday. My view is that, even including the rf, you can get a great room for a very good price - especially compared to other destinations.0 -
Surprised to see the $ has done so well today.0

Ferf- Have you chosen any new slots from youtube viewing to try? We are making a list!
