Have a read of the first page.

I would forget the GC if you are only in town for the weekend.

As for gambling, some casinos are nicer than others but all have pretty much the same games/slots to play

Near to you the Cosmo is nice, but just have a wander.

If you have the choice of coach or flight I would choose to fly

Free show tickets if it works for you.
My direct Aria 3 day booking just provides Blue Man Group, but is worth trying.

    Thanks Seldom Seen Kid!

Although I am so not able to get past the last stage and confirm my selection :( I have tried both mine and hubby's names/emails, changing dates, adding phone number/state without any joy. Any other suggestions as to what on earth to do? Otherwise,it may be something someone is trying to tell us, that we should not go and see Blue Man Group and rather catch JLO at PH :D Which reminds me, a long shot I know, but are there any good discounts for her show?

    Thanks

thanks - ours offered loads (5 night Aria direct booking), but when going through to select tickets most were not available...but we opted for Zumanity because we haven't seen it, don't really want to see it but kind of want to know if it's as bad as we have heard (a la Criss Angel)...so went for that. It didn't ask for a CC for the $15 service fee per ticket, though. Not sure if that is odd or not.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

$15 is if you phone through....
Good news for you guys who got a different selection of shows then ! :D (as in ones you can book, not what is listed....)

I got Lux, MC and Mir ref's, yet it only lets me book BlueMan group for end of May into June.........
i'll be on the hunt for cheap jabbawockeez tickets this year, was great to see them in the Lux, but should be a new show now there in the MGM..

    Hey guys...
    VIRGIN Flights....
Not flew with Virgin since 2014, and as I remember it back then, some rule came in about booking seats, either pay or wait for the free for all ?

Can I pick seats free of charge 30 days before flight, or is it as soon as online check-in becomes avail, I can pick seats for free ?

You can select your seat as soon as you book, but if you're flying economy it will cost from £25 each to do it. It's free in PE and UC. I think the charges are also waived if you have Gold status in the Flying Club. Economy seats can only be selected free once check-in opens, 24 hours before the flight.

Not strictly Vegas related, but I posted recently about having an excess of MyVegas LPs that I'll struggle to use as I'm not staying in a MGM hotel. With that in mind, I've redeemed a free suite upgrade for the Resort World Genting hotel in Birmingham. It's a £200 upgrade, and on Crufts weekend, so great for us. :)

    Nothing to do with seating
    BUT

    If you go to V-flyer

and ask nicely you may get an invite into the UC lounge.
Though it's more difficult now as you all have to be on the same flight.
