Resort fees have gone up without warning at Cesar's, Nobu, The Cromwell, Paris and Planet Hollywood. Now $32 plus tax, which I think I'm right in saying makes them the most expensive on The Strip?

I had a call from our travel agent the other week as an issue had been flagged up about resort fees. Apparently some travel agencies add them on and others you pay at the hotel at the time but now the hotels have put in a ruling of some sort to ensure that everyone pays at the location.
Not sure where this leaves us as we have it in writing on the booking that resort fees have been waived. Are the resort fees per room or per person? If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -

Does anyone have any experiences with Gun Ranges in Vegas? I'm looking for some info/recommendations.
Thanks!
They have loads of old army vehicles outside you can wander round and look at (in case it's busy), and a lot of staff are ex-army and seem to know what they're on about.
Was very impressed for the costthink we paid around $65 with one of the regular 'discount' codes that float around for Groupon:

You can choose to 'shoot' your free t-shirt if you want, or just use their targets0 -

My booking through hotels.com for MGM Signature has RF as $35.84, ie $32 + 12% tax.0 -

it is completely stupid...but unfortunately, they seem to be getting away with it...I still blame CET for caving and not sticking to their guns with their no resort fee promise.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
As we have not been to Las Vegas before but will be staying at Signature at MGM in September what do these resort fees cover? Do we get anything or is it another money making scam?0

in-room wi-fi is normally the thing of most value to people...though with MGM properties (and Planet Hollywood, maybe some others) having free wi-fi in the casinos and more and more restaurants offering it, it's not as interesting as it used to be.
According to http://www.resortfeechecker.com/239698-resort_fee_signature_mgm_grand.html
The hotel resort fee includes:
Fitness center access
Internet access
Newspaper
Phone calls
In-room safe
In-room coffee
In-room bottled waterDoes remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
