Looking at budget option for 5 days of my May 2016 trip.

Any opinions on TheLinq or Treasure Island which is £80 less ??

I do have about 300 dollars over 2 TR accounts to reduce bill for the Linq but could use that on other things.

I really like TI quite a bit. I know the Linq is newly refurbished, but I don't like the property very much, though we do spend time around that area quite a lot...the rooms at TI are average, but we like them. Love the feel of the casino, it's not too posh and not too run down...it's like the baby bear of properties to me., just right...2 Starbucks, Ben & Jerry's, easy self-park, quick to room from self-park, and quick from room to the Strip. The one time we went to the pool it was closed due to some sort of emergency that required them to drain the whole thing, but it looked nice. Edit, I'm being dumb, I have been to the TI pool...it's nice enough, we like it...and they have a really big hot tub... more like a small pool that's really warm.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Booked up for the Venitian 13-16 May! Has anyone on here stayed there?
This will be my first time in Vegas so I'm VERY excited!
  • Hi everyone.

I've been to Las Vegas twice before and hoping to book again this year. I've seen a good price from Dublin on Lastminute.com and was wondering if this is a good route to book through.
They're a reputable site surely? It was £1500 for 4 of us in August - I'm restricted to school holidays.

    Many thanks
  • Well I have and done it - booked another Vegas trip - staying at the Luxor this time - slightly over budget but what the heck got 4 months to save for the extra!
    Roll on May.

    Yes. We stayed Summer 2014.

Lovely hotel. All rooms are suites and bathrooms are large. Big hotel so think whether you would prefer a room near the lifts (for quick access) or further away (quieter).

Pool area is good. Casino has expensive minimum bets, 25$ on roulette from memory.

We stayed at The Venetian last August. It's a lovely hotel and our room was amazing. As its so big it did take a long time to get from your room to outside, but once you get your bearings you soon get used to it.
The pool area was fantastic to, we hired a cabana for one day, great place to chill out.
  • Anyone eaten at Giada at the Cromwell or stayed in tower Suite in TI?
