Probably too hot for me at the pool anyway
I shall be out & about in the cool of the morning then indoors somewhere during the heat of the day.
I may do a split trip with 3 nights at the Tuscany and the rest at the Aliante, I have still to decide that yet, that's why I am looking for opinions
Also the Alliante has a "all you can eat Steak Buffet" on a saturday night, and its not half bad either :-)0 -

I got a change of appointment but I was not able to get anything sorted out for Vegas so I'm going to a resort north of The Algarve coast instead.
Not quite the same as LV but I should be able to relax in a little less heat0 -
Any thoughts on the Bellagio buffet? Sure I read somewhere that it's one of the best. Is the Aria walkable from the Tropicana hotel where we are staying in September with a tour group?0

We like the Bellagio buffet. It has a few different items at dinner. We tried wild boar last year.
Google maps says that Aria is 0.6 miles/13 minutes from Tropicana. You can walk mostly indoors if it is hot.0 -
I'm not a fan of the Aria buffet but I know that's subjective. Depends what food you like really.
I really like the Bellagio buffet. As pebbles says, some different items for dinner too, it's good to go in when it's changing from lunch to dinner then you get a few extra options.
My favourite is Wynn. I love that buffet.
Another one I really like though is MGM itself. I really enjoy their buffet, either for breakfast or lunch. They have these amazing tater tots, they are like balls of potato with cheese in them and breadcrumbs. They taste so good. The also had houmous with feta cheese in it last time we were there and it was really tasty. 4 1/2 weeks to go0 -
I also think Cosmo has a pretty good breakfast buffet. We have never had Aria for breakfast.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

Hi all
Off to Vegas in 3 weeks but wondering how many dollars to take. Intending to pay for most things by credit card but obviously need some cash for tipping etc. There for 5 days, including a day at Grand Canyon. I know everyone will have different thoughts but any advice will be much appreciated.
Thanks0 -

Literally everywhere takes card, so if you just want cash for tipping then just bring an amount to cover that. U can add tips to card payments too if need be.
I would say atleast maybe $100 a day? Plus any gambling budget?
You can download über or lyft and all cab journeys can be on card too.0 -
