great win by the way ferf1223!
sadly my brother and i had sorta mixed luck playing the slorts, we spent alot of time playing the slots and often did $1.60 and $3 a go (as well as some inbetween and some lower limits)and some times got on the bonus and at $3 a shot we thought woohooo jackpot here we come and well we got like $12 from the bonus:mad:

yeah, that seems to mostly be the way. We don't play max bet very often (we mostly play about $1/spin or thereabouts), and when we do happen to get a feature at max bet it is very exciting, as you say...but most of the time it's a disappointment.

Just got back from our eighth trip to Vegas, Reno and other assorted towns and cities in and around...

Really quite surprised at Harrah's this time. Our stay was not as trouble free as it usually is. Woken up at 1.30am and 6am our first night by the occupant of the next room copping off with a prostitute very loudly, and then once I'd got back to sleep at around 9am, the pool started to fill up.

Managed to get shifted to the 15th floor for the rest of the stay. Decided to stay in Vegas another night and booked last minute at Hooters Casino. For an 'off strip' casino it really isn't far to walk, only had to scoot through the car park of the Tropicana and we were on the strip! It's really quite run down and tired though, but for a last minute room at £20, couldn't really complain. Plus the Hooters shop has some awesome gifts.

I think Groupon owe me some commission for the amount of time I used them on this trip....ate very nicely for very little the whole time we were there! Also spent my birthday at a gun range out in Henderson courtesy of Groupon....very cheap compared to the tourist trap competitors!

I'm curious which Groupons you used and how good they were? I've bought a few already, but might get some more.

Hi Lesley, glad your on :) I was just checking reviews on Dal Toro. Apparently it's permanently closed  Do you know if this is correct? Thanks :) I've contacted support on Groupon for clarification and I'll let you know :)

I too have a load of Groupons, about 10 dinners, yard glasses, all sorts :D

I just posted on their facebook page to ask, and replied to someone who had been trying to get through on the phone on the 14th June, to ask if they got through and was it closed.

Och, I hope it's not closed, I really liked it!

I also need to get a restaurant.com certificate (for Origin India) - I'm not very clued up on r.com, does anyone know if now is a good time to buy - are there any codes?

I haven't received any codes. If I hear of anything, I'll let you know :)

It looks like Dal Toro is closed. Disappointed. I've used the online contact to let Groupon know. I'm sure they must know already, it has been closed a couple of weeks by the looks of it.

I did notice some places were putting up signs that they didn't accept restaurant.com codes....might be something that has annoyed several retailers and made them cut all ties.

Groupon-wise I used Primeburger, Fatburger and Jimmy's Seaside Fries in Bally's. All were happy to accept them. For the firing range I bought one for Green Valley Range in Henderson (around the corner from where I redeemed my Fatburger at Green Valley Ranch!)
