Two new dining deals on Travelzoo. Stripburger and the one next to it. Not sure if I'm gonna bite (pardon the pun, lol). If that cose can work on this then it's a good deal for 2 but seems a bit steep still for 4 (or am I being tight),lol.http://www.travelzoo.com/local-deals/Las-Vegas/Restaurant/222601/Fashion-Show-Mall

El Segundo Sol? I don't think I could eat a full Mexican meal but we do go there for happy hour. They have really cheap big appetizers, and discounted drinks, till 7pm I think. We have done Maggiano's then El Segundo Sol happy hours consecutively before.

I also notice Lombardi's Romagna Mia at Miracle Mile is on. Anyone been there? I don't think I've read any reports on it at all. I have looked at it while passing before though.

Similar to us on our last trip - we made gold.
We got around $150 taken off.
My experience of them only taking express comps off is normally due to someone staying in a comped room.

All our rooms were comped (inc resort fee)
The most I got was $10.82 wiped off, had to use my build up of express comps.....
Will explain more in my trip resort....
And yes, a lot of people are being asked to use there express comps to pay for there outstanding charges.... heard it myself while in the queue and talking to other gamblers at the tables.... Pearl & gold..

    hi all

now long back from our vegas/new york holiday so thought i d do a trip report for our vegas trip as it ll be still fresh

june 1st to june 11th vegas

arrived at around 7pm vegas time 30mins early, .Got the tram thing red something to the terminal and by the time we got to the baggage claim we waited for a good 25mins which did not help my mood,
went to the mgm for our 10nights and a biggish queue and tried my luck to get our resort fees waived, reduced, or something but no luck, i did inform the lady we were pearl status but no luck( yet) so paid in cash, which i did budget for
put our cases in our room and went for a wonder, got our pearl cards as we had lost our old cards, played some roulette and lsot , had an early night as it was a loooong long day.

the following days were a mixture of sunbathing, as some posters have said it was mega hot i think between 104-110 for the most part and JUST around 99 when we left so mega hot!

gambiling,we had a budget of around $100 for gambiling and split it into $50 in the mornings and $50 later on during the day/night
we always seemed to do well in the mornings with some good wins during these times i think 9/10 or so of the times in the mornings we were both up though maybe lost a bit during the later on period

Myvegas: 6 rewards between us both
    for myself
$50 freeplay mgm- put in 3 single $1 notes and played $3 per shot.max bet and walked away with $144 or there abouts!
    :rotfl:

241 mirage buffet- we had the booze includedmy brotherliked this! felt it was okay food
241 Bellagio buffet was not too keen on this, left dissapointedby this

    my brother went for
241 mandalay bay. we both thought this was good

241 aria lunch felt this was good

241 mgm dinner- was my fav of the buffets, unsure if it was cause of the closeness to where we were staying but i always enjoy the mgm buffet:rotfl:

    shows/entertainment-

did david copperfield- tix4tonight i think it was around $83 each, did this last year and was inpressed again this year!

noticed that mike tyson was doing his 1man show and booked up back in april for a meet and greet, was dead worried as this was the same day as ali's funeral( ali had sadly passed when we were in vegas) and well i was worried it would have been cancelled but we got to see my fav boxer do his show and got to meet him(though i stumbled whilst speaking to him) but got a picture with him and a few words with him so woohoo:T

the linq high roller wheel-again tix4tonight i think it was around $19 for the day tix but we went around 7pm and upgraded for an extra $10 each and the bar was $15 each , talk about getting a lil worried!, i keep telling myself dont look down dont look down but of course i did!( worried face here)
    got some good pics though!

the mob mesuem- really liked this! i think it was around $19 each , spent about an hour or so there before
The freemont street experince-free. first time doing this and liked it, alot off good pics here and i think by chance/luck-fate my brother noticed a guy from the programme auction hunters- a guy called david i think whom owns the shop? my brother is a fan so got a picture with him, made his night.

Also a big thanks to a few posters on the site whom told me to charge things to the room!
i think we charged a couple of buffets and 4-5 drinks each to the room and got them wavied/comped! as well as getitng some resort fees comped and by check out the mgm GAVE us $165 back plus the above comped so a huge saving there!

and before we did david copperfield , i put down $125 dollars, and after 25mins or so and my brother telling me to go, i cashed in and walked away with $920:T
was up overall and brought back over $1500 back so not too bad!
any questions feel free to ask and sorry for the long winded version,
    kind regards
