    some broccoli

why would you sully the loveliness of mac and cheese with green veg? why?

green veg has its time and its place, I actually like broccoli, but if I want mac and cheese, I do not want broccoli. :)

That said, I will make a note of the suggestion and pick up a jar next trip!
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

It's interesting when you guys like Hershey's as many in Europe find it quite distasteful. I don't mind it, but I grew up with it.

I'm the same. I like Hersheys, especially kisses.
And I cant eat Cadburys since they were bought by Nestles who promised to keep the Bristol plant open then shut it and transferred production to Poland putting hundreds of British people out of work

I don't mind it after I get through that very first bit where it tastes rather bitter. After that, I can quite happily scoff them. It's things like root beer and savoury pretzel bits I don't like.
Root beer is the nectar of the gods. I am told it is produced by straining the liquid through the stockings of a virgin cherub.

Tracy says it reminds her TCP:D

    Agree with the TCP shout!

Also agree that Peeps are evil :)

I wonder if the interest in people's coffee jars is due to the "hiding drugs" connotations?

it's powdered coffee creamer vs actual coffee, so we assume it lights up like several cylinders of cocaine or heroin would. :)

The thing about TCP is, is that it actually does you some good if you gargle it. Root beer just seems wrong on some many levels.
And the more I read about 'Peeps', the more determined I am to track some down.
Still can't do the s*dding API form.

You might like to try Dandelion and Burdock, it's very similar to root beer.
