they are the devil's food...their only redeeming value is what happens when you microwave them...but some people like them :) ...marshmallow chicks. I did not know they came in purple, I might be able to consider purple Peeps.

Also, we highly recommend these - first had some at a movie theatre and paid about $47 for them...now we pick them up at WalMart both in the snack packs and the larger bags and bring plenty back to take to the cinema in the UK, too.

I have to admit I giggled when I saw that little sign that says 'now with more real fruit'
I'm not a massive fan of marshmallows, but my brother is, so I'll bring some of those Peeps back if I find some. Thanks for telling me what they are, Ferf :)
I was making a list of clothing/shoes to bring back (I'm a sucker for Skeckers trainers) It seems to have changed into a list of sweeties & chewing gum now :D . Last time we had to talk ourselves out of buying one of those gigantic bottles of Listerine mouthwash we saw in Walmart lol. We ended up with a few bits for the pooch instead.

What kind of price are they - they're our faves :D.

they used to be an Easter-only thing, but it may be they have them year-round now.

Last trip we discovered fry sauce. Specifically this kind:

We will be adding it to the list going forward.

my husband is certain that the 8-10 bottles of powdered french vanilla coffee mate is the primary reason that our food case gets opened...I still think the mac and cheese rattling around may be of some concern.

    How is the Aldi version?

    It's OK
My friend's husband insists it's the best and she reckons he has tried them all.
I like the hazelnut better though.

My bags sailed through security at STN GOT CPH LHR and ORD on the way out (don't ask - had a massive reroute and overnight delay due to STO's radar going down)- coming back it was opened at ORD and twice at Stockholm (went through security twice there as I had to change terminal) so I think Mr Ferf may have a point.

Well, last time we went (5 years ago) and they were averaging about £25 to £30 a pair. BUT, the outlet mall a couple of miles down from Mandalay Bay, has a Skechers store that, - every time we've been - has some sort of deal, such as buy one pair, get one pair half price.
Last time, I picked up a pair, as did DH and when we got to the till, his pair was a part of a new line that wasn't included in the promo, but the supervisor very kindly knocked 50% off anyway, so I got a pair for about £15. It wouldn't happen over here.
There are the normal stores there that are a bit dearer, but we always go to the outlet mall for ours, because with what we save, we end up with a pair of jeans each ;)

Hi bubble you can get the car hire excess insurance quite cheap over here, have a look at the main site for the car hire article . (Edited to say we went through the MoneyMaxim link in that article) We recently paid for it for a car we hired in Vegas for two days, it cost around £8.
We had to tell national when we picked up the car who the insurance is with.
Alternatively if you have a credit card see if you have cover with them, for example the Amex Platinum gives you the cover you need.

Thank you but i'm not sure that it's car hire excess insurance I need as the basic Virgin insurance doesn't include CDW which is what I think I need.....TBH i'm a little confused!

Will have a look at MoneyMaxim, thank you.

Thanks for that comeback Brats! My lot aren't too fussy -hopefully :D I have the drinks option as it still works out cheaper than paying on the door without. I may get another one as It works out a good value with the four of us. Also, Travelzoo has the option without drinks. I hope you guys going all enjoy the weather, I'm still wrapped up like winter here, lol. Just trying to put the finishing touches to our trip now.:D

It was the run up to Easter while we were over Ferf LOL

My kids are a little bit older now so instead of boring choc eggs I got them all a pack of peeps. I had never seen them before and thought they were quite cute. They came in white, pink and purple.

I know, but I wasn't sure if Peeps would be around now so I was managing expectations in case they are gone until next year. :) They may have them all the time now, in some form. I know they came out with Peeps bunnies at some point recently...which was kind of wrong since "Peeps" doesn't make sense for bunnies.

I love that you took a photo of the M&M section.
