The post office will for payment of goods or debt, but you will find most banks won't.
Have you checked if they are collect able, as I have one that is the Diana one and it's worth more then the face value £5, I collect the most recent ones too.
Hubby received them in his change. He has a Diana coin too. He has also got a £5 queen mother 2002 coin and a £2 1996 Euro 96 coin.
