Came across this thread I think I will join ☺. I work in retail and at the end of the year so many people pay with £2 coins and tell me they've saved hundreds over the years. I wouldn't mind saving up to get something nice for Xmas 2016

One more saving trick I want to try is to keep all the £5 notes that land in my pocket - Couldn't find a Fiver Saver's Club, so I guess I'm on my own on that one.
Only just seen this post and GemGem has already mentiond it but I recently started collecting the plastic £5's and the Jack Nicklaus ones but since mentioning it on here I haven't found any more so still on two of each.The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.

I agree. I've only had my third this week. XBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Not seen any plastic fivers, and had to google the Nicklaus one - A Scottish thing, so it is highly unlikely I'll get to see any of those.
Anyways, two more £2 coins plus another £5 note for the collection. Also scavenged a manky 2p that was lying in earshot of a street beggar. Although not party to the roadkill challenge, I'll snaffle any coins I see on the ground Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
