Although I missed my target, I still managed to tuck away £160 worth of shiny coins in 2016 - so I'm far from downbeat :j The magic jar paid for a lovely night out and also a new microwave.

Congratulations to all savers - let's go again for 2017

    Well done Scottishmummy.

The difference between NI and England commonwealth coins is that the NI one has a thicker band on the flag, and the English one is thin.

Comparing it with online photos I am certain it is the England one.

£6 spitted out from the self service machine when I got milk at Morrisons.

Think they are coming back into circulation, I had lots of people paying in bags and bags of coins,

I did have a sneaky look through to see if there was any good picture ones.
