Revolut card fraud - help!

What facts did you expect from me? I think facts are needed for making accusations in the first place, and only in the second place for defending.
Good. Is it your definition of the 'track history' or 'reliability'?
Of course it doesn't exist because you keep failing to define it. History of what exactly? And if you mean internet, normally you can find a lot of negative information if something doesn't work well, but very little positive information otherwise. So far I have not seen anything really bad about Revolut. The worst was "failure to provide a secure means of transmitting identification documents", but after dealing with dozens of online bookies this is hardly a surprise or would be a problem for me if I wanted this card.
Just out of interest, by your own admission you have never had Revolut and you have never used Revolut so how do you know it's good?
You also equate Revolut with "online bookies" and use that as an excuse for Revolut not providing a secure means of transmitting sensitive identification documents. Not a very good advertisement for Revolut.
I'm stating the obvious but a track record is the accumulated reports from actual users. If the majority of users found the service reliable then we can assume that the service is reliable. Conversely, if the majority of users found it to be unreliable then we can dismiss it as unreliable. The further back the reports go the more we can regard it as authoritative. Pretty obvious really. On the other reports from those who have never used the service such as yourself can be simply dismissed without a second thought.0 -

Secondly, as I posted above, my son had got it on my advice and and was happy. You also equate Revolut with "online bookies" and use that as an excuse for Revolut not providing a secure means of transmitting sensitive identification documents. Not a very good advertisement for Revolut.
>> Fidor Passport Email
And I prefer sending a watermarked copy by a email rather than spending a fortune on a certification and sending it by a snail male like 'reliable' FD with a 'proven track record' insists.I'm stating the obvious but a track record is the accumulated reports from actual users. If the majority of users found the service reliable then we can assume that the service is reliable.
Have a look at the Mobile Phones board. It's full of negative information on Vodafone posted by unhappy customers. However, you'll hardly ever come across a positive feedback posted by happy customers of Vodafone or other networks.... reports from those who have never used the service such as yourself can be simply dismissed without a second thought.0 -
First of all, unlike you, I stick to the principle "Innocent until proven guilty". Half a year is a sufficient time to prove this.
Secondly, as I posted above, my son had got it on my advice and and was happy.
Well, for some mysterious reason you keep advocating Fidor.

Fine. Half a year is a sufficient time for accumulating negative reports. You are welcome to quote them when attacking Revolut.
For positive reports from 'majority' you have to do a survey, I am afraid. Go ahead then. You can start with posting a pool thread here.

I can only repeat: "innocent until proven guilty".
Fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, your post is not worth a reply, only a dismissal. Bye-bye0 -

I have had my card used this afternoon- transactions in the usa amounting to over £120 (i had £145 on the card) whilst i am here in the UK. The card must have been cloned back in April when i visited the states. I have tried both contacting Revolut by phone and by the in-app support as advised on the website- neither respond!!!
I have blocked my card and managed to transfer the remaining £22 back to my own account but I have not been able to find any information on how to get my stolen money refunded! I chose this card following its recommendation on MSE, please advise as I see from this forum you were able to help refund another card holder???0 -

clear what you lost. April was four months ago, if you leave money on the prepaid account unattended it's best to use the security features to avoid any possible fraud.Evolution, not revolution0 -
Inadequate company. It is understandable that Revolut is a business and making profit out of the business is a healthy attitude. For any company running business out of legal rights is certainly not acceptable. A business should act and arrange business cooperation and customer management by following legal manners instead of following injunction of 3rd parties. According to EU and UK law no business has legal right to enforce cooperative company to collect as sensitive information as bank statement of customers and handover them to 3rd parties!
They do not even have a telephone service. This is another fast growing company which is directing to an end. We will not recommend this company to anyone wishing serious business.!
On 06.04.18 we have received an email from trustpilot.com advising changes in our review as Revolut has reported this review as offensive. We also have requested trustpilot.com to point out any improper word(s)/section by mentioning to them the following:
* Revolut Blocked account, never informed about blocking and never did provide with a reason of blocking
* Per their banking partner!!!8217;s request they required us to send them our customers!!!8217; bank statement, which they planned to forward to their bank!, completely illegal
* They required us to explain them about withdrawals from our own account, own funds and tell them what did we do with the money, we are not supposed to be obliged to explain about how do we spend our money0
