Because, of course, the fact that the factory is in the UK means there's been no logistics yards, no storage compounds, no off- and on-loading to trains/trucks, no shifting of stock between dealers on trade plates with the speedo disconnected...Another good reason to buy British made to be honest.
The ONLY difference is whether there's been a boat involved or not. Just one load/off-load in a chain of many. Heading to Dunkerque in the summer, we saw several trucks full of C1/108/Aygos - built in CZ - on CZ-registered transporters approaching the docks. The boat really is, quite literally, just one added link in the chain.0 -

No, he's probably too mature for that. When you grow up you'll understand.0 -

Another vote for letting dealer fix it
The scratches could have been caused after the PDi
And you should be glad it is only small scratches as I used to work with somebody that offloaded cars at the docks!
Probably not worth trying to run your car in as they have mostly been ragged!
Another good reason to buy British made to be honest.
Especially when British made means you can have a Honda, Nissan etc as well as usual suspects.
A stevedore loading and unloading cars at the docks is hardly likely to have ragged the car, yes they are in a hurry to get them unloaded but that is a bit extreme
as for buying british that is also rubbish as they are transported around the country just like an imported car0 -
I got a Ford jacket out of the dealer when mine had 'damage'.
I have also seen the damage done when Volvo's were driven down the ships ramp (they were slid down the side of the ramp - three in row by the same driver)m so your new car might have just come out of the body shopDo you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0 -
