Not the dealers tat you moron "ford" for eg, pens, there now umbrella pockets in some cars that you have to pay extra for the correct size and wide brolly for.BeenThroughItAll wrote: »But then you look like some kind of branded tat-collecting weirdo... and when you use your "(branded) "parker" type pen" and "(branded) umbrella" you're advertising, for free, the brand represented by the very people who delivered a crap service to you.
I wound never ask for dealership branded stuff bud!!
Manufacturer branded stuff WHY NOT. The CAR advertises itself and the dealers plant their sticker in the rear window and on the plates also so your advertising for free for them anyways.
some people never think on before posting.
You really did think I meant dealership branded stuff. LOL BIG TIME!!!
If they say NO repair it anyway and you keep it, don't go back to that dealership go to local rival franchise and get it serviced there instead simples0 -

You clearly struggle understanding English.
Nowhere did I mention dealer branding. In fact, I specifically mentioned, if you can be bothered to read it properly, in the last line of my post 'the brand represented by'. Since you clearly have difficulties understanding anything beyond simple sentence structure, let me explain. The DEALER is a REPRESENTATIVE of a MANUFACTURER.
The DEALER is the person providing the CRAP SERVICE I referred to as a REPRESENTATIVE of the BRAND whose BRANDING you will be advertising.
Clear?
You haven't bothered to read the post properly, instead choosing to insult me without understanding what I wrote.
Just because you are badly educated, or lazy when reading, that does not give you the right to call me, or indeed anyone else whose posts you struggle to comprehend, a moron.0 -
Moron is a term once used in psychology to denote mild intellectual disability. The term was closely tied with the American eugenics movement. Once the term became popularized, it fell out of use by the psychological community, as it was used more commonly as an insult than as a psychological term.0

what sort of scratches are they?
are they surface scratches or deep scratches that have gone down to base coat ?
the dealer may have carried out the pre delivery inspection and the car was fine and the scratches occurred after the car was prepped, worst case scenario is the dealer threw a bucket of water over it and didn't do the pre delivery checks and if that is the case dont take your new car back to them for service because they probably wont get that right either0 -
oh my bad being for relieving a dealership of some collectables is such a bad idea you thought you would call me a weirdo for it then come back and cry because I called you a moron!! ROFL!! I like how you think, a little backwards IMHOBeenThroughItAll wrote: »You clearly struggle understanding English.

I'm not crying. Just pointing out your mistake so you can learn from it.0 -
Another vote for letting dealer fix it
The scratches could have been caused after the PDi
And you should be glad it is only small scratches as I used to work with somebody that offloaded cars at the docks!
Probably not worth trying to run your car in as they have mostly been ragged!
Another good reason to buy British made to be honest.
Especially when British made means you can have a Honda, Nissan etc as well as usual suspects.0
