Hi
I opened a first direct account about 2 yrs ago but canceled the same day as i didnt realize that they would close my other bank. They never paid the incentive but will that still count as being a previous account holder. If thats so ive no rush to open the account. I have £46000 to play with and get a decent interest rate. I already have a tsb classic plus a nationwide flex account that i will change to a flex direct plus use the the attached regular savers. Thats my starting point. Its interesting reading if a bit mind boggling. Out of interst how many of the same bank account can you have in one name as i see people talking of opening multiple tesco accounts.
Thanks Richard wRichard W0 -

i probably missed that then as ive sat reading these posts for the last couple of hours. Ive had a quick look now and cant seem to find it. Is it possible to have two TSB classic plus accounts in my name. I dont think i know anyone who has a nationwide flex direct account who could refer me via friend incentive.
PS cant figure how to do the quotes either lol:rotfl:Richard W0 -

Re the Nationwide option (if you can't get your preferred FD), you'd need two DDs on the account being switched, whereas FD doesn't require any DDs to be switched.
You'll find you've 100s (probably even 1000s) of friends on here who would happily refer you!0 -
Thanks again yorkshireboy.
One more question for now. Do they have to have the same specific nationwide account as im after as i think my brother may have the flex account and i want the flex direct.Richard W0 -

ive looked on there website and even when recomended it says that i still have to complete the full account transfer using the switching service and fetch over two DDS and this will close my old account. Then we`ll both get the £100. i havent got an account to close so thats out. Thanks anywayRichard W0

O sorry your right but wasn't thinking of switching accounts. Even for FD which is what i would of had to do to get the incentive. sorry for the misunderstanding.Richard W0
