hi just been reading your diary and just a bit of info I was told by a railway manager once after missing a train I was booked on (flight was delayed). The nice manager said you can actually catch a train upto 3 hours later - he just stamped a card for us - no extra cost - maybe worth trying if you miss a train again.

Birthday today!
So far have received 160 pounds in birthday cash, which was far more than i was expecting, so i am very happy.
Had my first counselling session through work and although i cried a little i feel so much better for having it, though it has been a long day.
Got tomorrow off work and am going for lunch with my friends.
Got a ten pound voucher from my work for wh smiths which meant i was able to buy two books i had been lusting after in the 'buy one get one half price' deal for just 5.48.
Spent a bit more than i wanted to today after travelling from one side of town and back again going to the counselling session, but these things happen.
And best of all i was able to complete a years worth of data about my spending habits as it was on april 1st last year that i started keeping all my receipts. I have spent over a grand on clothes in the last year, such a waste, i can't even tell where most of that went.
Goal for 2016-17 SPEND LESS!!!!!
Also came home to find AQUA credit card want to increase my limit by 800 pounds. I burst out laughing and showed it to my boyfriend. That's three of my five credit cards that must be scared stiff that i won't spend on them again and are trying to entice me back. I don't even have to make a big deal out of declaring i won't touch them because i know absolutely i won't. Let them increase my limits, it will all look better on my credit rating, it might even help me get a good deal on a loan to pay them back.
Tomorrow is the start of the Make 10 quid a day challenge. I'm going to get up early and ebay/facebook/gum tree etc the hell out of my old stuff. Then i will look for short story competitions, then i will see if i can nab any freelance commissions. I want to make 300 by the end of the month.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Thanks Orange Ena!
Today I am visiting my poor father in law in Hospital. I have been spending again, not too much, but little things. I bought myself a 'composition book' (it's an american type of notebook) which i have wanted for years as a birthday treat. And I have bought a load of birthday cards and thank you cards from card factory, managed to pick up all four of my nieces and nephews birthday cards for the next year very cheaply so i'm happy.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020
