Also was given 50 quid from my parents in law as part of my birthday present, so i'm counting that towards my 10 quid a day challenge this april.

    Belated happy birthday!

Just a thought about credit limits- is it worth seeing if the increased limits would help with doing balance transfers? Maybe reduce the outstanding amount on your highest interest account and save you money on interest? Worth a quick check.

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys :)

Yesterday I entered a Race for Life 10k with an aim to doing the Bristol Half Marathon before the end of the year.

Today i spent 12.99 on clothes and feel a little good a little bad as i do love both items i bought, but i am lusting after a 59 pound dress and could have put the money towards that.

Have joined the crazy clothes challenge thread so have updated my signature.

Writing this in a cafe as a day off treat, just applied for a job nearer to home with more money, fingers crossed! Will go for a jog soon, and watching Wrestlemania (again) with friends this evening.

Just done a monthly food shop, came to $51.96, should last a little while, i hope!

I will soon be paying back a debt i owe to my boyfriend (a recent one and not part of the big debt) of $188, just waiting for my birthday cheques to go through. Received another one today of $25, so will use that to celebrate me and my boyfriends 5th anniversary this saturday. Including the $25 received today i will have $42 to last me the rest of the month, but all bills are covered, and i won't touch the credits cards. To me saying i won't touch them is like saying 'today i'm going to breathe' because not using them is now as natural as breathing, something i do instinctively.

Hmm, I seem to have done some calculations wrong somewhere, i have less money than i thought. I should be getting some birthday money off my brother, and also i have a refund from expenses occurred during a work trip coming through. I can only hope they come through soon!

I am off work ill today, feel really bad about that as i hate letting down my team and not being there to ease the work load, hopefully i will be in tomorrow.

I want to update my signature to show my debt amount, but am debating when to do it, as the credit limits are going to increase and i am waiting for the payments to clear which doesn't happen until the 14th. I may do it today anyway, to keep me distracted from being ill.

Did my first Pinecone Research survey today, gosh it took a long time. I may be sent a product that i was reviewing so that will be nice. I'm thinking of joining the wombling challenge thread as me and my partner receive so much free stuff off his parents, it would be great to tally up the value.

Re-reading one of my favourite books at the moment so i may finish that today. I'm just going to relax i think, i don't want to make myself more ill.

Well the good news is i was able to do something productive today which was pay back my boyfriend the remaining $188 i borrowed off him in March. The bad news is i had to use money from my savings to do both that and the two bills that are yet to come out. The neutral news is at least it meant i still haven't touched the credit cards.

I'll be honest, there have been times when i've seen the balance increase on the 'good' credit card (the one with the lowest interest and actually through my bank) and i thought 'maybe i'll buy myself one book, or get someone a present, it'll be ok' and i stopped myself. The urges are still there, in the same way that i occasionally miss smoking, or reminisce about my smoking days. I know both are shockingly bad for me, but they did give me a buzz.

Hi, just read through your diary and wanted to wish you luck with your journey. You sound very motivated and think you are well on your way to getting it cleared with that positive can-do attitude.

Was just going to say from the PCOS point of view - diet (not just the quantity but the type of food) has a huge impact on your weight and mood. Might be worth googling it to get more information. I found that I was always quite irritable/tearful and had an edge. Changing my diet had a really positive effect and if I go back to my old way of eating; definitely not good for my mood and mental well-being.. Loads of websites that can give you healthy alternatives.

    Good luck:):)
