I save with Funding Circle....better rates than saving at the bank....and not too risky as I now limit what I lend to each company :D

Glitzer, that sounds like a lovely evening!

Bob, we've been trying on the boys xmas jumpers today too!

Back from a lovely lunch with Santa (and celebration of my parents wedding anniversary)
The meal was great & I don't think any of us will want anything else to eat today!!

ds2's trainers started letting in water so picked up a reduced pair from prmark for £5, will go to the clarks outlet in Jan before going back to school.
Left the hotel with the leftover mince pies off our table, They will be nice next week with a cuppa!
Also my dad had cheese & biscuits for dessert and there was enough cheese for 3 people on his plate, so he wrapped up 2 big chunks and sent them home for DH
    Checked fpl/luckyphone/cos/qidcp etc

Interesting. It sounds a bit more appealing than big bank stuff.

Glitzer - sounds like you had a fantastic time away.
I had a nap this afternoon  Those of you who know me well will know that I always plan a nap and never get one.
Well, the sore throat has turned into a full blown cold - I went for a lie down after dinner at about 2pm and next thing I knew it was half past four. I must have needed it :o:o

    So, onto today's list:
[STRIKE];) Urgent - mark test papers[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE];) Tutoring[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE];) Put petrol in car and do NOT go into shops and buy anything while I do that :j[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE];) Plan and batch cook for next week[/STRIKE]
    ;) Maybe do some knitting
;) Try and hang onto my mood as best I can
    [STRIKE];) Minimise heating use[/STRIKE]

Still feel like I could sleep some more, so I'm going to head off. :p

I've spent the weekend tidying up upstairs. I'm in a 3bed house and there's only me. One double room is a dump for clean clothes and the pile was getting bigger and bigger. The second double room is a dump for anything & everything, when i was going through everything here this afternoon i found a brand new 2013 calender still in its envelope.
