Thanks Ally, I will save the links re dishwasher and have a look on Monday when the house isn't full of hyper kids! OMG you'd think it was nearly Christmas! hehe

DH took the kids to swimming lessons so that I could go straight to town so as not to struggle with parking :)

    Spendy bits....
    DH got the tyres £170
Hot choc & sarnie in Costalots this morning with my mum but she paid :)

    MSe bits
Parked at my mums to avoid car parking costs in town
Walked into town so free exercise that also means I'll have earned points via my fitbit/bounts that will eventually become a £5 gift card
Picked up 2 rolls of free o2 wrapping paper via priority
Picked up 2 free star wars sticker parks from whsmiths via priority (will be wrapped for the kids for chrstmas )
Picked out 2 free xmas cards from cardmarket via priority, both for dh's parents one from us and one from kids (will post using a free stamp from rm surveys)
Popped into c00p and got a couple of lemon sponges ys'd down to 29p was lovely earlier with a cuppa!
Just shared an Iceland pizza that I got last week as a freebie with the kids :)

    Think that's it for now.

Tomorrow we are going out for a Christmas lunch with my parents, sis & niece, its my parents 41st wedding anniversary on Monday and we all went for this lunch last year to celebrate and had such a lovely time that we decided to make the lunch an annual family get together :) It was lovely as there was also a disco for the kids and a santa came round to speak to every child & give them a pressie and there were party games etc. Really hoping that its as good tomorrow!!

Have a lovely evening all, we're about to watch Jingle all the way with the boys now :)
  • Hey Chocolate - Yes, it's dead easy - just goes on like polish. I got this kit http://goo.gl/mLh1Cv then bought 2 or 3 other gel polishes for around £5 each. xx

Thanks for this - I have also found this

CLF - Love the little advent stockings. So cute & Christmassy. I have finally got round to posting a pic of those socks on my blog, so you just might get tempted by self-patterning yarn.
And yes, the arrival of Blu-tak WAS that epic! I'm glad YorkshireLass remembers its arrival too or I might have thought it was just a very localised craze. I did grow up in a bit of an out-in-the sticks region. Goodness knows what we'd have done if we'd seen an animal-shaped paperclip or a glittery rubber band.....probably mass hysteria!

    Hi all,

Thanks for starting the thread Jonno and congrats to Chocolate for getting the deposit back.

Hope everyone is OK, and Desmond hasn't caused too many issues !!

I'm not having a good day mood wise....I dislike this time of year, my mood always slips and I feel like no one (family) cares or misses me when they don't see me......I need to shake this as it winds me up each time !

    Anyhow, enough about my mood......today I have/will:
    • meals from stores
    • checked online banking
    • moved £0.99 from isa & bank accounts to my card - every little helps
    • checked investment and re-invested (will stop when this gets to £2,000) - this is my emergency/deposit fund and the target is part of my 101 list
    • talked myself out of a trip to the local sweedish home emporium (although i do need things, i like mooching around and i could do with getting put of the house)
    • read papers online
    • had a couple of hours sleep - better than eating carp or mindlessly watching the tv
    • wrote a list of cards i need when i go shopping tomorrow - if i don't have a list I'm likely to forget someone
    • a night in front of the box awaits
    • have a NSD - have done nothing !

I think that is my lot - have a great evening !

Lol, CLF - I'm guessing you liked them. I reckon there's a sock-knitter inside you, trying to get out x

Ooh I could hug you, thanks so much, and LaE too. I looked at these once before but couldnt afford it. I have just texted my MIL who says that if I order one and get it sent to her she will pay for it for my christmas pressie! So excited. Getting my nails done is something I havent been able to afford for years and normal polish just doesnt last very long on me.

I just need to save up for some of my expensive face cream now ..
