Yes, I've bought the fish & chops deal before, it's not too bad.

Cadbury Jelly Popping Candy - 480ml

never heard of that before - some sort of chocolate flavoured jelly with popping candy in it? sound awful.

I haven't heard of it or tried it but I think the ice cream will have little jelly pieces and popping candy mixed in. I say this because Cadbury have done the same with the large chocolate bars. The jelly pieces are like wine gum texture.

People who are on the Jeremy Kyle participants' database mostly.
And a few who will buy ANY deal as the labels say it's a deal, so they must be saving money if they buy it!
    Probably two overlapping groups there....

Looks like a canny deal to me and I would buy it, I don't fit into your stereotype of purchaser either.

Had the boneless box before and it's all reformed chicken which was highly disappointing. I ended up binning it. The rest of the deal looks ok for a change but can be had from Aldi much cheaper.

It's a shame that the Co-op make a big point of advertising that all their fresh meat is British and then serve up carp on some deals.

I think they seem to have 3 sorts of deals:
    • this deal with a lot of IMO 'junk' food
    • a chilled deal which (I think) was gammon recently and tends to be a little bit healthier
    • one I read about this morning: £5 for a bottle of Coke, bag of wine gums, Doritos and bar of chocolate:eek:
