Co-op meal deals

I live for the day that either are what could be described as "healthy" rather than "healthy-in-moderation"0

I got a leaflet through the door yesterday about local co-op deals saying for £5 you can get a pack of sliced ham, half a dozen eggs & a pack of new potatoes.
I don't know if it was highlighting local produce to our area, or whether it's part of a nationwide deal where everyone's co-op supplies those items (from their own locality) at that price.. Hope that makes sense.0 -

Real ham or ham of 80% and lots of chemically flavoured filler?0 -
Sorry- I don't mean to be so negative to the Co-op, they are my local store and I shop quite a bit there, but I just wish they'd put their money where their mouth is and start using actual meat and real food (not refined stuff or foods with so much trans-fat-based-filler). They have the perfect market for it, give the impression they are using 100% British meat and so on, then go using filler! They could bring in so many customers if their deals were about selling non-refined food and pushed their advertising on this, but they don't, they'd rather sell franken-foods and it's a huge loss and a big shame. It wont stop me shopping there but sadly it's out of convenience rather than because I went out of my way.0

This offer was on a while ago. I've still got the fish in my freezer and I gave the dipper things to my grandson.0
