the "flipper dippers" look like a variation on Fish Fingers. Is this correct ?

More like a vegetable fish cake rather than just a fish finger.
My son has eaten them before and quite likes them. Cant say they are a fav of mine but he would be happy with them if we had the battered fish. We would all have the chips, peas and ice cream.

Saw the new frozen deal in store this evening.
I think i saw an italian chilled meal deal but no tickets up yet. Lasagne, garlic bread tiramasu. Cant find anything on the website yet.
