Thankfully my local had loads of these left. Grabbed one today. I wouldn't normally buy pre cooked but with number 2 baby due in 4 weeks, i'm trying to stock the freezer with easy, go-to meals for the early days.

But the lasagne isn't pre-cooked, hence why it can be cooked and re-portioned, for us loners0 -
Has anyone had the lasagne before ? any comments on taste ?
I don't normally buy the Co-op meal deals as I usually don't like most of the "menu" but I thought I'd give this one a go (I'm not bothered about the peas, but can use them in a soup/stew or something!) However, I don't rate the lasagne at allvery little meat, lots (and lots!) of bechamel/white sauce and very little cheese. So the taste is quite bland. However, the garlic bread is really strong and the ice cream is absolutely delish

I think they must be big eaters as I finally got around to cooking this lasagne tonight and it easily fed four of us with salad and garlic bread on the side.
Must say though, it was quite disappointing and nowhere near the standard of Coop's own brand lasagnes. As someone said above, distinct lack of meat - more like layers of pasta which with a thin layer of sauce between - and no detectable Parmesan cheese on top.
I certainly wouldn't buy it again.0
