    Pictures of Sonic as promised

    DSC00010.jpg

Productive day here but not intentional, DP checked on Sonic this morning, said he's not in there. We pulled everything out, every bit of furniture, appliances in kitchen etc, gave up and thought he'll show up when he's hungry (he can get through the bars and did last night) I came back from appointment with DS2, his litter tray had been wet in, I said to DP 'Are you sure he's not there?' well when I looked there he was, sound asleep in his hay! I've been able to borrow a cage with smaller gaps between the bars off the lovely lady at the pet shop so that will hopefully keep him safe until he grows a bit, they are even more tiny than usual as their Mam had 7 which is a lot for a little hog :( he's one of only 3 survivors.

Anyway before that lot went back it's all been cleaned behind so did get a lot done, DP of course pulled stuff out and just dumped it then went back to bed! Made me sort through some stuff aswell which needed doing. Bathroom cleaning done apart from bath because I've dumped BBQ grills and bio powder in it, I could do with a toiletries sort through but I think that, like the boys PC room can wait until next week when they are back to school!

Welcome back Denise :D Pleased to see you back online with us.

Vanilla sounds like you've been through it a bit, welcome back, hope things are getting better x

Solwaykid I wondered where you were, I was looking through the posts thinking where is she :rotfl: sounds like you have been busy

Shell sounds like the missing Mummy might be the key, or thinking she is missing out, known it happen with a lot of children, my youngest was always 'pulling sickies' as DP calls it just because he wanted to spend the day with us. A big thing I have to do with him now is if he is off not make a fuss or do anything special or he tries to play on it.

Hev great big hugs and fingers crossed your partner gets paid

JillD there is no wonder you're not sleeping, all that caffeine. However those play areas are great aren't they, with the weather being nice we haven't been to one for ages but will be over the winter.

Rach hope you have a nice evening

Pigpen, sounds like DS3 is being a little handful, hang in there honey only a few days before they are back to school! Got to agree with waffles and whatever, I like them with just cheese and beans on :D

Right off to post tomorrows list before I loose my connection again!
One day I might be more organised...........

Pigpen, I really wouldn't know where to start. Must be some money in it as these are £150, actually he's a lighter coloured one which are usually £180 so don't know why that was different. I might look into it but didn't get him intending to breed them. Oh and he's rather SPIKEY!! they have said he'll become less shy the more he's handled, he's getting there slowly but still when I got to pick him up he's just a ball of spikes, have to just as the pet shop said 'Grin and bare it until he calms down' she was right as if I just sit with him on my hand (thinking ouch you little ****) he soon pops out. Actually I seen a wild one on my way to get the boys from youth club which was rather weird seeing one out during the day.

Which day do your lot go back to school? Ours are back from Tuesday. Currently wearing them out, weathers changed a bit so have challenged them to 15 minutes each on my rebounder, wear them out a little before bed!!

Post is up for tomorrow :D

He'll be fully grown between 12-14 weeks, he's just over 7 weeks old now so they grown pretty quick, however he'll only get to between 4 and 5 inches long. I wanted to call him Spike, was outvoted by 2 brats and a 20 something year old brat! Oh and he always craps on me, great huh! Watching him chase his mealworms is funny, he's a right noisey eater aswell, no table manners he ate the tail of one earlier and left the other half wriggling around while he ate the other 2 then put it out of it's misery. :o reducing my flying time playing with him for a couple of hours a day. Waiting until kids go to bed then going to get him out for a bit, I will get him to stop spiking me!!!

Harsh @ being back Wednesday, seems a tad unfair, maybe you should let the others have Tuesday off too :rotfl:

That's one very sweet hedgehog :D I had no idea you could get them as pets, learn something new every day!

Bathroom is back to it's former glory; my SIL said it looked like a Spa bathroom at the weekend which was a compliment.( Hang on maybe she meant Spar..) I did some more stripping in the kitchen while I was waiting for my tea to cook. Two half walls stripped and I swear the accoustics have changed the layers of paper were that thick and some Numpty about 20 years ago has papered over some sticky out rawl plugs, tut. I need Shirleypark to come and do her very thorough DIY stuff.

I'm not going to bother ironing tonight. I've lost the Flying oomph 'cos I spent too long posting elsewhere and browsing.
Just my Hit the Supermarket(s) list for tomorrow evening to do then watch some TV if what I tried to video last night is on there. Heroes AND Silent Witness on at the same time? What were the BBC thinking?!

lil_me - your new hedgehog looks soooo cute I didn't realise that you could get them so small and also get them for pets.

Everyone else well done for all those taking part in the 30 min challenges I could have done with this today as I haven't achieved much, I seem to have spend most of the day in the car running around not achieving very much, never mind tomorrows Friday so will catch up then.

    List for tomorrow -
    WM
    DW
    evening meal
    make beds
    kids lunches
    wash school clothes
    ironing
    put dried washin away
    hoover main areas
    clean bath

    DD2 bedroom
    • declutter
    • polish
    • hoover
    • clean mirror wardrobe doors
    • clean windows
Thats me for tomorrow which will hopefully be more productive than today.

    Night all.
