Hi everyone!
I'm back from 2x work and have just caught up with the thread whilst eating my hot-buttered cheese muffins (yummy).
Jill you were right about Zizzi, I didn't enjoy it, and sent a letter in with my sister today to tell them that I have decided that I don't want to work there, and could they give my pay to my sister when she picks up her wages, and that I've sent my shirt back with her. Basically, the reason I decided not to work there, is I've found out more about them being nasty to my sister, and the 2 managers on duty last night were really cold, and !!!!!y and talked to each other in Polish about us the whole time. They also said that I wasn't allowed any of the tips for my first 3 shifts because I was still training, even though I'd been doing just as much work as them, if not more! Hope I don't have problems getting the money I'm owed.
Anyway, I still have money coming in, as although I've told the pub that I can only work weekends, I've been given an agency job for this morning (before my shift, hence 2x work) until the end of next week, and they all seem really nice there, which is good. I've also been on to the other agency about an hour's pay they owe me, and also to let them know that I'll be free during weekdays now, so fingers crossed the work keeps on coming in.
I've also been asked to do an extra shift at the pub (working this saturday), so I'll be working all weekend too.
Not much flying done, but will try to do some when I've a bit more energy. That's the trouble with working all the time and not giving yourself a rest.
Well done Pigpen - I couldn't believe how much you said you've done in 30 mins! I wouldn't have managed half of that!
Off to find a cuppa as all the talk of tea made me fancy one (a tea, that is lol).
Happy flying,
sexymouse xx
PS, I'm having dinner at M&D's tonight as per usual on a Thursday, so at least I don't have to cook, but I may not get back on here today, so have a nice evening everyone.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
I back in for the last 30 mins Pigpen - just sofas to hoover in living room (done floor) and then hoovering stairs and bathroom and then cleaning bathroom.

OH new job has staff restaurant all free and really fancy so he is eating lunchtimes now - excellent!!!The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Quiet day flying wise for me as I haven't done anything except put a wash load in :rotfl: I have however been to the shop and bought DD and I an off-peak travel pass (£4.20 for both) and then using them we jumped the bus to the library (purely due to the weight of my 7 library books!
) and back with the intention of running up to my parents afterwards and taking the 14 books I've borrowed, plus 1 DD borrowed, plus a video & 2 DVDs but we decided against that and went on an adventure instead - read as got on a bus and saw where we ended up :rotfl::rotfl: 6 bus rides, a trip to Woolworths for chocolate, crisps & fizzydrinks, a stop off at a far off park and we got in around 3.30 just 30 minutes before the passes ran out, and it should have cost for me alone £9.30 MINIMUM!!!!! :money: Will be doing that again in Half Term.
Right, OH has just come in so I best go and do some more jobsLaters
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
ok that was actually an hour but lok what I got done:
- change DD nappy, its a bit smelly
- strip bed and put stuff in wash
- decobweb everywhere
- dust downstairs AND UPSTAIRS!!
- S&S sinks x 3 plus bath
- shove loo brush down toilets x 3
- unload vegbox and wash the fruit
- sweep kitchen floor
- tidy up few odds and sods lying about upstairs
Only thing I didn't gfet done was hoovering. Might try and do that when they are in bath later, or else leave til tomorrow.
Amazing how much you can get done when focused!!
