Got distracted by google when I came down to get the cleaning stuff
Finished hoovering
Need a cuppa to take to the bathroom. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
i missed the 4-4.30 stretch as someone phoned. got a few more cottages narrowed down though. the only problem is most of them seem to sleep 6 - there's only two of us. all i want is:
*near north cornwall coast
*near a pub
*nearish a shop
*king size bed
*bath (big jacuzzi one if poss)
ideally a woodburner or something!
is that asking too much?!
This maybe completely useles but....
A couple of years ago we stayed here:
http://www.littlecallestockfarm.co.uk/accommodation.html
We stayed in the one called "Wheal Busy" which certainly had a jacuzzi bath and a wood burning stove (I think they all do - and the appartments have four poster beds too!). I think the pub was about a 20 minute walk and the coast was a 10 minute drive (I think!)
The place was lovely - on an organic jersey cow farm and the people were great.
Just a thought!

If that is 'too much detail' I want to know what trimming other body parts would be lol.. legs are fine.. so long as you vacuum afterwards I'm sure we don't mind!! lolGinger_Girl wrote: »IRONING!!!!

:rotfl: Thanks Pig Pen! Will be thinking of the fly-lady crew whilst lounging around chatting and reading trash mags!
Hope that the Pig Pen household calms down soon - I've only got three and at times sound like a fishwife hollering when DS and DD1 lose it together.
Have just decided that I am officially losing the plot:
went to start cooking tea (the chicken that I had defrosted earlier) - and got half way through making tuna and pasta bake!!!! DOH! Anyway - fortunately hadn't actually opened the tuna so a swift change to the recipe leads to chicken and pasta bake. Must be getting old! (Twenty sixteen this year!)
Right - DD2 is sitting on my lap making it hard to type and demanding a go on 'kneebouncers' so back later!
PS - waffles and anything counts as a meal in our house!!!!0 -
Hi all, not posted for a couple of days but I've been Flying like the wind!
A couple of frantic days at work has meant I've been coming home revved up rather than tired out. Yesterday I did all the livingroom and hall jobs (except window cleaning) and then my bedroom. I've had a second run of catfleas so I vacc'd BOTH sides of the matress and matress pad, moved the bed round the room until I'd vacc'd every last inch of carpet. Was yuk at the headboard end.. Cobwebby, my hair, cat hair and a couple of those little bits of the mouse that the always leave. Shocking I know. The shame that I'm telling you as well!
Third washload having a good sunny blow on the line and an empty basket.
Landlord is fine about me repapering the kitchen (shame they didn't offer to do it though, I love painting but hate papering) so I stripped some more of that off. Going to be a long job unless I can borrow a steamy stripper. Ha ha!
You've all been busy, lots of tea been supped and half hour challenges! Hugs to all in need today, hope all the pre-term nerves settle soon (that's Mums, kids AND the teachers on here). I do like the start of September, even having been out of education for longer than I care to share on here I still get that Autumn anticipation and excitement. It's always been a good time for new resolutions and fresh starts at things for me.
Off to clean the bathroom, then maybe some ironing, S&S the kitchen and see what I'm in the mood for doing after that.
