    I find that hard to believe Aesop - 5p a day ! - £18 a YEAR ?

Why am I messing about with chain saws and log burners ?

It's only one heater so would have to take from room to room but let me check

I think it was Homebase, someone found one of those free standing storage heaters reduced to silly money and it only costs 5p a day to use for electricity. Worth looking around for those.

I'm not really sure what a 'freestanding' storage heater is since by definition they aren't. They're incredibly heavy with the bricks that they use to store heat and have to be wired in. They can 'free stand' as in they don't have be directly attached to the wall (although for safety it's better if they are) but they can't just be moved about - a small one is 52kg never mind being hardwired!

Do you mean convector heaters or oil radiators? I have those and they cost 33p per hour... which is why I don't use them.

And I definitely can't afford an electrician to install storage heaters (you don't just plug them in to the wall!) especially since I'm renting so it's essentially wasted money because I'll move out at some point and leave it behind.

I have taken a bit of a gamble and used the cash-back offer I mentioned from Nationwide - £25 back off £100 purchase. I have bought a card, which I know I will use as it's valid for ten years. I haven't counted it yet and will see if I get it back - meant to be within five days of delivery.

    Well - I'm gob-smacked !!

The £25 cash-back hit my account this afternoon and I've not even received the card from the amazing site yet :rotfl:

Just completed a survey for JustThe Answer which took me up to the redemption level for a £5 Amazon voucher :j(sadly they don't offer Paypal :(). Unfortunately there's a message on the redemption page to say they've run out of Amazon vouchers and to try again in a few days:(
Yup ! I had that on another site (forget which) last week. Blooming annoying and how do they run out of the amazing vouchers !!!!!! ?

it happens on swagbucks too. I think they only buy so many hundreds as they get a discount and they run out quickly because people usually redeem for those

Everyone send good vibes that markmark (that's my macs name) makes it to Hampshire safely.

I did sell my old iPhone 4 for the £35 I asked for though, despite getting half a dozen £25 offers so that's something. Also means I *technically* got my iPhone 5 for £68 (paid £103 for it) but the proceeds have gone into the rallycross fund anyway.
Sending you and markmark some posi-vibes and hope you both soon feeling better :D

Good deal on your iPhone though - well done :T
