well I called today for my pac code. got told only one code despite 2 handsets....:rotfl:
and then got told there must be something wrong with us if both phones faulty and my tablet :rotfl: CS couldn't believe all 3 faulty, we must be doing something wrong!!!
I told the gentleman that we are mature adults not young kids. We don't drop our phones down the toilet, smash the screens, etc.
mine I said went faulty after i did a a sony update, and the telephony store refused to take it in for repair so I sent it to Sony who didn't fix it properly and I had to send it back again. so.... how is it my fault a software update didn't work? I wasn't the only one with a software update issue as my friends on facebook told me....:rotfl:
as for DH's iPhone.... well his phone double calls while he is connected to you. it's amazing! you are on the phone connected to him, although neither of you can hear each other, and then his phone vibrates in his hand and starts calling you again while still connected on the first call...:rotfl::rotfl:
and that's our fault.... :rotfl:
and..... the tablet....:rotfl: well it is beyond economical repair :rotfl::D
the charging port has been pushed in as was not fitted properly in the first place.:D to fix the charging port they have to replace the motherboard on the whole tablet :rotfl: which they are not prepared to do as far too costly.......
so I have no working tablet and no money to buy another one :rotfl:
but hey CS have decided it is our fault both phones are faulty and that the tablet is BER.any wonder I am leaving....

Anyway you can take it higher ? How long you had them ? They should last for at least a couple of years no bother. Can you take it to a higher authority - sold but not fit for purpose. Did you use a credit card ?
I am with t-mob which are now part of double E and always found them very helpful so far. A few months ago both of our phones started playing up and they sent them back to repair. They did a full up-date on both of them and loaned us basic phones for the week they were away. Okay atm - touch wood - though a little slow.
I do hope you get it all sorted out okay

the double e e are the ones I am having trouble with and I have gone all the way to the exec :rotfl:
the CS down here is abysmal. the call centre staff are usually very good! I prefer talking to them then the instore staff.
but today's took the biscuit :rotfl:
all 3 under 2 years old. the iPhone is actually BER too, as I took it direct to Apple no longer having any faith in the telephony business.
so 1 tablet BER, 1 and half year old, 1 iPhone BER, 1 and half year old. neither covered under warranties due to product. iPhone only has a one year manufacturer warranty. 2 if purchased direct from Apple. no, consumer law does not apply to apple products.
as for the tablet... omg, it was the worst invention and I so regret buying it now. it was on a sim plan too..... it was a poorman's version of it's originator. I have a sim that is of no use to me. as I have no tablet that takes data to place it in.....
oh and I should have taken out insurance :rotfl:  because in this country things should last for at least 6 years according ot consumer law but just in case they don't, I should have insurance....
and no all paid for on debit card. I spent money upgrading 2 handsets to new contracts that aren't worth the paper they were printed on, paying off previous contract to take out new, as there was a couple of months left on both.
for a year and half later to be stung with one ber handset, a joint data plan, meaning if one left, the other would need the contract changed to get data!
and a ber tablet purchased at the same time on offer with new contract.
bitter....moi.....
hence why methinks I will go on payasyougo after having a chat with CPW and DH can go sim only if can find the right sim and deal....
no more handset contracts.. not worth the paper written on.

well in light of today, I have made 40p from clic and walk, -£7 for MS refusing to payout despite me arguing. £11 for MS, 9p from slidejoy
and 1p from inbox pounds.
50p made yesterday lol
in other news I now have 909 points on receipt hog, slowly getting there. need to add receipts from expenses today to it.
and completely off topic. I was reading on a frugal thread on facebook, how someone suggested if you cannot afford a new mattress or even a mattress topper, to put a duvet under your bedsheet.
Well do you know what? it really works. So well neither DH or DS want to get out of bed everyday! DS says his bed is lovely and warm when he gets in now, he has been complaining his legs feel cold at night, despite sleeping in long pjs with a double duvet on his bed. I had to put a duvet over the top of his double duvet and he said that had helped and his legs no longer felt cold.
Well since putting the duvet under his bedsheet instead, he says his legs are lovely and warm during the night, he says the bed is warm to get into and he is having the best nights sleep! so much I am struggling to get him up in the morning.
As for our bed, our mattress feels like new! :rotfl: it is lovely and warm and so comfortable. DH struggles to get out in the morning now and so warm.
so there you go learnt something new.0 -

Aesop - I think I would still pursue it.
Can the Techie Board on here offer you any advice ? How about the CAB ?
Have you tried asking CFW about this - I have found them really helpful if they are not busy and the techie guys love to explain things if you pretend to be helpless.
I don't understand that if you were on two year contracts for phones that they can refuse to sort them if only 18 months old. Surely they are under contract the same as you as the other 'person' in the contract.
Wish I was near and could help, as can feel your frustration and know I would be feeling the same. It all seems so unfair
