I want to make cheese scones.
For some reason can't find my scales anywhere.
Does anyone have ideas of how to measure flour, butter and grated cheese without them or shall I just guess?
Thank you :j0 -
Hi there,
A heaped tablespoon of flour weighes 1oz (sorry, dont do grams) Divide the pack of butter into half then quater, giving you 2oz. Cheese is not so inportant, just guess. Good luck0 -
They are cooling at the minute!
Can't wait for a cuppa and one of them! We have normal shaped ones plus some elephants for my two year old, who is somehow head to toe in flour! Still a bath will take up some more of the afternoon!
Thanks0 -
As well as our scales, we also had one of those metal cone-shaped measures that has different scales on the inside of it for ounces of flour, sugar, etc. Haven't seen it since we moved ...0
