I have used Noddle for years and never paid them a penny as I never bought anything from them.

It seems that most people are happy with them but in the forum there are reports of spurious payments being taken by them for no reason.

With my luck if it is possible it probably will happen to me!!

  • Wow, thought I was on my own with all of this, am still having problems even though ive spoken to god knows how many advisors and customer complaints teams over the last 6 months. They keep throwing unlimited data and credits at me, but on the other hand they keep sending texts about cutting me of and late payment fees. Do they actually know how to fix this???

Can't believe I never searched this before as I too have been having the same issue!

I joined Vodafone back in July, set up my direct debit but no money would be taken out every month. First few months I was unaware of it until I would get a text telling me I would have my services suspended if I didn't make payment. Every month I would contact Vodafone several times and each time customer service would say something different (there's an error but they've rectified it/the bank is rejecting payment/the direct debit has gone through etc). Every month I would also be stung with a late payment fee until I contacted customer service to remove.

I called my bank and they said they had no record of Vodafone even attempting to take payment.

In the end out of sheer luck, I set up a "new" direct debit myself (with the same bank details) on my Vodafone account online and the money was finally debited successfully! I just hope my credit file is not affected.

You can check your credit file online, straight away, and for free. noddle.co.uk

If you find a problem, it is almost certainly down to Vodafone and they would need to correct it for you. Just google "vodafone billing system"

Vodafone are in a lot of trouble at the moment anyway and have been fined a lot of money due to them ripping off their customers. Charing people for accounts that were closed down months ago, just generally poor customer service.

I would assume it is down to them
