How's the new job going?

It just sometimes worries me that if it had not been for my sister then I might have grown up to be exactly the same. I really love my new job and am so glad that I was brave enough to take the plunge and move up here because it is a fabulous school and all of the other staff are very friendly and helpful and the place has a great atmosphere and my children are all wonderful although sometimes a little bit difficult to understand.

Isn't your sister amazing ? Despite the fact that she is still recovering she is planning all that . I assume your parents will be included from the way you posted too ? Also wanted to say that Serena is right about coping the best way you could so please do not reproach yourself about anything. It seems to me that moving was the right thing for you to do. That is just the way that she is in that she always has to be doing lots of things all at one time and all really big things of the type where most of us would struggle to cope doing just one of them alone. She always invites our parents and her husband's parents and anybody else at all that she thinks might benefit from a good meal in not so good company as she describes it but usually anybody with any kind of life problem or who just finds themself at a loose end with nothing planned for that day will find themselves invited. She is currently trying to persuade her doctor to sign her as fit to return to work as well even although she has been on the phone to most of them throughout the day and was from her hospital bed as well even before she was allowed home.

If you really want to meet her then we have to take over her house and have it there instead because she is no great believer in inconveniencing herself to accomodate others or their whims and rarely goes anywhere that she is invited by my sister and somehow manages to find fault with absolutely everything when she actually does go. :rolleyes:

I am glad your sister is on the mend again. Seems like quite a few of us spent a lot of time visiting hospitals over Christmas. :grouphug: to you and your sister.
