Oh Ciara so sorry to hear about your sis. Have been wondering how your move went and how you are getting on. Hope your sis is on the mend and that you are ok. Take care . XX
Thank you I am settling in here really well despite everything that has happened and I love my room and feel like I am living in a proper home and am part of a proper family again. I have also been told to remove my brother in law from under the doctors and nurses feet quite a few times and take him to the pub and get him to pay for it as well.Debt August 2007 - £38,204.58 - Completely Debt Free - May 2008 - Now Proudly Saving.DFW Nerd Number 684 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts:heartpuls Very Proud Aunty Ciara :heartpuls0 -
I have just checked my bank account and I have received my final pay from my last job so I phoned up the lovely debt collectors and paid them £750.00 and informed them about my change of address at the same time as well so that they do not go and send any more letters about my debt to my old address which I am worried about incase the new tennants open them by mistake and see just how much that I owe.
They were not very happy about the amount that I paid them but I managed to lie although probably not all that convincingly and told them that that was absolutely all that I had to pay them with.
The woman on the phone was also demanding to know who my employers are but I refused to tell her because I could not understand why they would need to know this but I just hope that this was ok and that I will not have to tell them because I really do not want my work knowing about how much I owe. I received my payslip from the pub this morning as well and it looks like they are going to pay me tomorrow as well so I will put this money into my saving account straight away and add money from my normal bank account throughout the month whenever I think that I have anything to spare.

Your doing well with your debt, give yourself a break - please don't take that the wrong way. Hope your sister recovers soon.0

Thank you and I promise that I will not take it the wrong way because I like all of my bones all in one piece like they should be and have absolutely no intention of having any of those kind of breaks.I know that I have come a long way towards being debt free and should be happy about this but the problem that I seem to be having is that it just not feel like I have come anywhere near far enough and I probably never really feel like I have until I have managed to pay all of it off which probably sounds completely daft.:o
My sister seems to be getting much better by the minute at the moment and is now up and walking about even although she probably should not be yet but she looks as though she is nearly 100 from the way that she is hobbling about. :rotfl:

The feelings that you have are quite normal I think, and hopefully you will be able to remember clearly how you feel and will never get into debt again.
I really do hope your sister makes a full and speedy recovery - she needs (and deserves) lots of pampering now from you and her hubby.
Good luck in your new job!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hiya hon glad to hear your sis is on the mend. As for you young lady PLEASE BE KIND TO YOURSELF. You are obviously a very conscientious person, many people in your situation wouldn't give a t*ss that they were in debt, and certainly wouldn't have worked so hard as you at reducing it. You must learn to forgive yourself. PLEASE ? XXNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0
