Hi Ciara I know it's horrible to have strangers wandering around your flat but if you were selling that's what would happen. Could you ask the Landlord or maybe a friend to be with you when you have any viewings ? Please keep posting when you move and start your new job. Will be wondering how you are getting on. XX

I promise I will not be leaving when I move in with my sister in fact you will all probably have me posting much more often because my new smoke and alcohol free sister is going to be around for a good few months anyway and she seems to be even more excitable and energetic and sickeningly enthusiastic about just about everything than usual if that is at all possible and I think that I will regularly have to seek sanctuary in my bedroom to be able to cope and keep some of my sanity. I cannot wait for the day that she is able to mix her first drink again and have a full packet of cigarettes and a lighter in her hand again to act as sedatives. :rolleyes:

Thank you I read your post just before he got here but I was unable to reply before. My landlord said that he understands that I will feel uncomfortable with strangers in my home and he would not do that but what he is going to do instead is pre-arrange times with me for the viewings so that I can be in the flat to watch my personal property and he will show the prospective tennants around at the same time. He said that he was amazed at the condition that the flat is in now when compared to the day that I signed the lease and he has even offered to reduce the rent further if I agree to leave some of the furniture behind which is mostly old things of my sister's and some bits and pieces that she bought me from Ikea which I will have no space for when I move anyway.

Hello bigger trouble. I am moving to Scotland to live rent free for a while. All is very good for me just now how is everyything with yourself?

I do not think that there is much chance of that happening on my wages but maybe if I tried out an alternative career as a bank robber who knows I might just manage it after all? That is really awful for you what is wrong with your dog and is it a boy or girl dog because I really do not like referring to her/him as it?

He is a him.

He's got some growths/tumours that I get the impression are malignant. I don't really understand it all but he needs an op but might not be able to have one if he can't withstand the anaesetic(sp).

That is a really horrible situation for you to be in and I just wish that I could say something clever or useful to make you feel a bit better about it but I am never very good at that but I will think about you both tomorrow and I really hope that things turn out better than you think.
