I really wish that I had thought about doing that but when they were asking questions about how much money that I had I felt that I had to tell them the truth like I was in court under oath or something so they already know exactly how much that I have saved up. I will try and persuade them to accept less but I am not sure that I will be very successful because I have never been very good at it and I think that maybe my older sister inherited all the blagging genes in our family because she seems to have turned it into some kind of art form over the years. :rotfl:

Can you not say that you have had to reserve some of that money because the boiler is about to blow up or something?

I hope so because I would like to be that fit again and feel as positive about everything again like my sister always always does so I am going to try it again today and see if I can do better because I think that she might be right about the healthy body and healthy mind thing because I did feel a lot cheerier after I had run for the distance that I managed.

I like the sound of that suggestion and I think that I will try it but I will have to rely on them not having my SOA in front of them because it says that I rent where I live.

I am sure you will be able to think of something that would fit in with the SOA you have submitted. Remember that ideally you SHOULD have some emergency money to cover unforeseen circumstances, (I say ideally, because I am sure most of us don't) but if you pay them the full £4000 this leaves you with no "just in case" money.

I also need to get packed again today because we are going to a family wedding in Ireland this weekend which I had totally forgotten all about although I have not actually admitted that to anybody yet. I have some new clothes though and a beautiful outfit for the actual ceremony that my sister took me to get yesterday as an early Christmas present. I am already dreading the hangover now though.

I have just paid Moorcroft £4,215.67 or really I gave the money to my brother in law and he paid them for me because they would not budge on the settlement amount at all and when I tried bartering it down a little bit they started to get really awkward and began to demand that if I was not able to settle it today then I would have to increase my monthly payments by at least £100.00 because I have to settle the debt within 2 years. But at least I am now completely free of them and will hopefully never have to deal with them ever again in my life.
