Can I Fix This?

I have still not heard from my local area representative from my union but I called the Debt Collector this morning and told them that I was seeking legal advice on situation and asked if they would please send any further communications relating to this matter in writing to the local area office. Not surprisingly they were not very helpful or cooperative and told me that it did not matter who I involved because I owe them the money and I will pay it back to them.

I did the same thing today and made an effort with my appearance for work and it is actually making me feel quite good about myself. There was a funny incident this morning in the staffroom when one of the other staff members commented that she had seen me out with a young man last night and that we had looked very cosy together and no matter how much I tried to explain the situation nobody would believe me. So that in the space of 24 hours I have managed to go from being a non smiling miserable cow who was destined to be alone forever to being described as bonny and I have now been told that they all knew that I would not be single for long. :rolleyes: I was also told that I work fast because the man in questions mother lives next door to the woman who saw us and she felt the need to point out that he has only just been back in the country since friday so I now seem to have dubious moral standards as well. :rolleyes:

I am working in the pub tonight so I just hope that the it is quiet because I am already tired now.

This has definitely just been one of those days that just should never have happened and I should have just have hid under the duvet instead because so far I have had one child cover me al over from almost head to toe in red poster paint and even managing to get some in my hair only to be followed up by another one being sick on me. So I am going to give up the well presented new me because it just does not seem to be working. I am getting very worried about what could go wrong at my second job tonight.

I checked my phone and have managed to miss 13 calls calls from the latest Debt Collectors so far today and am really hoping that I hear back from my union soon.

I have managed to clear my smallest outstanding debt today. I managed to get the Lewis Group to agree to what I thought was a good settlement figure and they agreed to give me seven days to pay it so I set up a standing order to them and transferred the money to them. I am now officially £957.19 less in debt and I have now got a current total of £23,834.54 outstanding to clear.
